Why not after all? The Stratchan's cues were -and still are- the ones that everyone can recognize if they watched at least once any version of Millionaire in the world.
The Jackpot Win cue is one of these that are emblematic for any person who was lucky enough to watch a "Million" win on TV. And no one gets bored to hear it! (In another way, can you really get bored of a show just because of a music change?)

I'm probably a bit disappointed because I really wanted to hear that music in the rave-mix. Also, I know this will sound like a lie to people, but Ramon Covalo (the composer of rave-mix) only composed the question beds. The rest of the cues (intro, closing, hot seat crossover, Ł1,000 and Ł50,000 win cues, Into/Out of commercials stingers) was remixed by... Keith and Matthew Strachan! This is an official note, coming from Ramon Covalo himself, from my private correspondence (like, we were writing e-mails to each other). If you don't believe me, send me PM and I'll give you his website address, where you can ask him about it.  |
