I would like to share my idea of a game with an extended tree with 20 questions. You get 4 lifelines (50:50, Phone, Double Dip, Switch). If you answer 15 questions, you win $1,000,000 (Millionaire). Questions 16-20 is what i call "Super Dimension". To get there, you must have at least 2 of your lifelines not used - they will become unavailable. $1,000,000 is NOT a safe level, so if you get a question wrong, even after Q15, you will collapse to $32,000. For 20 questions, the prize is $10,000,000 (Super Millionaire).
20 • $10,000,000 19 • $5,000,000 18 • $3,500,000 17 • $2,500,000 16 • $1,500,000 ---------------------------- 15 • $1,000,000 14 • $500,000 13 • $250,000 12 • $125,000 11 • $64,000 10 • $32,000 09 • $16,000 08 • $8,000 07 • $4,000 06 • $2,000 05 • $1,000 04 • $500 03 • $250 02 • $100 01 • $50
And about some moments you may ask about the tree: For Q1-3, i reduced the amounts so that the player won't lose more than they could gain on a question (if we look at classic $500/$300/$200/$100) you risk $200 for $100 on Q3, and $300 for $200 on Q4), although the questions are generally very easy and amounts are low there, but i thought it would be better like this. For Q16-19, the next prize is less than 2x previous - 1) if i continued doubling - the prize would be too much or we had only 3 questions after a million, 2) this makes the journey to $10,000,000 more risky and intense, in my opinion, to an appropriate level.
What do you think about that?

Yesterday I reviewed some of the topics of death in the Super Millionaire Discussion, including the topic of money tree. And I realized that your money has a problem: from question 16, the amount of money players lose if they're wrong is always higher than the amount they're added to if they're right. If I use your format, I will: 1. Remove the $1.5 million question. 2. After players get the right answer for $500,000 question, they have to choose to walk away immediately (with $500,000) or answer the last four questions without walk away.

1. Remove the $1.5 million question. (with $500,000) or answer the last four questions without walk away. Do you mean walk away with $1 Million? And about lose to win ratio, I already wrote that I don't double money there, and this adds more risk to the game.

1. No, you'll walk away with $500,000. (My money tree: 19: $10,000,000 18: $5,000,000 17: $3,500,000 16: $2,500,000 15: $1,000,000 ------------------ 14: $500,000 13:... And if they don't walk away with $500,000, they have to play the following questions without walking away. In this case, I'll give them an Power Paplu.) 2. Look at the money tree in last 5 question... In Q16, you can lose $968,000 or win another $500,000; In Q17, you can lose $1,468,000 or win another $1,000,000;... And I think it's hard for anyone to play with that unless they have to.

In my French personal version ("Qui Veut Gagner des Millions ? - Extra-Version"), there will be a 21-question money tree (20 questions and a bonus question insane difficulty) with a set of five lifelines :
- Ask the Host
- Ask the Audience
- 50:50
- Switch
- Phone-A-Friend
Here is my personal money scales of "winnings pyramid"* BONUS : 100,000,000
20th Question (Finale) : 50,000,000
19th Question : 25,000,000
18th Question : 10,000,000
17th Question : 5,000,000
16th Question : 2,500,000
15th Question : 1,000,000
14th Question : 500,000
13th Question and Last Milestone : 250,000
12th Question : 100,000
11th Question : 50,000
10th Question : 25,000
9th Question : 10,000
8th Question : 5,000
7th Question : 2,500
6th Question and First Milestone : 1,000
5th Question : 500
4th Question : 250
3rd Question : 100
2nd Question : 50
1st Question : 10
My personal version of the game will be also accompanied mostly by the Ramon Covalo's rave cues music and a set of rainbow-coloured spotlights that will brighten the stressful ambience. In this "Extra-Version", contestants could walk away with a minimum of a thousand European euros if they answer correctly at six first questions (not five like the French version real game), they can climb to the thirteenth question with a possible amount of 250,000 European euros (48,000 € formerly) : this amount will be locked and contestants could walk away with a quarter of a million ! But, if you resist to the increasing questions' difficulty and stressful atmosphere to extreme, you will can win millions and millions of cash money !!!
*The amounts' units depends on country where the show is broadcasting (dollars for US, Euro for EU, pounds for UK, roubles for Russia etc...)
