I regret saying this, but in my opinion I would have to say yes because of some very stupid things that have been happening lately, which include this:
This (everyone EXCEPT FOR ALEX ORTIZ, SAM MURRAY, AND ROBIN SCHWARTZ):
This (getting screwed by the clock):
This:
and MOST IMPORTANTLY, this:
Don't bash me cuz I think this way, I have a right to express my opinion. Anyways, if anyone else once to vote, feel free to do so.

Well, the "Lovi Yu" video is actually really sad. I mean, lovely lady who loses her big opportunity in 3 seconds because of slip of a tongue. The clock makes the game faster, but kills one of the main "Millionaire" ideas - no time limit. Then, Millionaire catchphrase "Do you wanna Phone-a-friend" will be forgotten. In Poland, even after they cancelled the show for 5 years, you could hear this phrase everywhere. Now it will become forgotten, because Phone-a-friend no longer exists.

I don't know about the $0 winners - but the Phone-A-Friend loss totally destroyed it. They're saying it's because it's not fair that some have a computer and some don't - that seems perfectly fair to me!

So maybe they could introduce a 1-minute Google/Yahoo/whatever lifeline, bring the german "Zusatsjoker" (don't know how to spell it, but gives the possibility to ask one person in the audience if they're sure about the answer to the question) or so. I don't really mind for the clock since it's just two different ways to play, one has its advantages, the other too. But with the difficulty of the US version (for pretty low winnings I think; I can't watch US game shows everyday, but I'm fairly sure they're giving much more money away in Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy!, even in The Price is Right) they should either make questions easier or bring the 4th lifeline. And BTW, having good "experts" can't be bad.
The Primetime version was easy. And that was too much. The Daytime version is hard. And now, that's too much.

I don't even watch it anymore, the classic series was so much better. The new series is so shallow and banal, and designed for viewers with the attention span of a ferret!

I said yes....I have only watched a few episodes recently and they really didn't do much for me. I miss the original show, and granted something like this probably won't be as good as it originally was but it really isn't that good anymore
