Hello everyone,
I have, for many years, loved Who Wants to be a Millionaire. When I first saw it, I was blown away by the format of the show. After all, it was the first show to offer a million dollar (or pound, or whatever other currency depending on where you’re from) prize. It was Millionaire (and maybe GSN as well) that got me hooked on game shows.
As far as the Official Procedures go, I have NOT created a game. However, I am in College seeking a Programming/Game Development degree. I know that doesn’t count as creating for this entry application, but I do plan to create a Millionaire game of some sort in the future.
Since I haven’t made a game or some other kind of creation yet, I am required to have 20 “good quality” posts or more. I, as of Wednesday, January 27, 2010, have made 24 posts. Are there 20 good quality posts? Personally, I believe so, but I will you decide as the process intended.
Most of you, before joining and posting here, probably didn’t know me. For that reason, I understand that you may be reluctant to permit me access to the awesome Fan Games section of this site. For that reason, I will not PM anyone asking someone to say good things about me. I personally believe that it defeats the purpose of this process, and it usually backfires anyway. I want honest opinions about myself.
Next, you might be wondering why I want access to this part of the site. As I mentioned before, I love Millionaire. I also like playing Millionaire in any way possible. I think it is safe to say that the games that are “in there” are much better in more than many ways than any other game out there. So, to answer that initial question, I want to be able to improve the games there in any way possible and have a little fun in the process.
Sorry for the long read, but it's hard to express what I want to express in fewer words. Millionaire is my favorite game show by far. It's one of the few shows I watch when I have time.
