*the following WWTBAM intro plays* *the audience cheers wildly as I enter the set from center stage and proceed to sit at the host's seat* Thank you everybody! Thank you! First of all, it may be a few days late, but HAPPY NEW YEAR! *they cheer wildly again* My goodness, what an exciting time it is to be here at the Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles. I'm still Peachfanclub, that hasn't changed at all... *the audience laughs* However, to celebrate the fifth quarter-century mark of episodes of the official RPG of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, I have a special surprise for each of our contestants, but they'll find out what it is soon enough as they take the Hot Seat... *I pretend to throw up the hood on my pretend sweater and make something of a spooky face, at which point the audience chuckles* But I would like to give away a lot of money right away, so let's jump right in with our first contestant: from the United Kingdom, please welcome theidentfan! *the audience applauds as the crossover cue plays and the contestant enters the set from center stage and proceeds to take the Hot Seat opposite me* It's like you're watching the same episode of that crummy soap opera on repeat. *the audience laughs* This is theidentfan, hailing from the UK; you may recognize him from the last few RPGs -- not only did you win $1000 on a recent RPG, you also hosted the episodes thereafter. But this time, instead of asking the questions, you'll be answering them! How crazy is that?! *they chuckle* What kind of fun things would you do with a million dollars?

Huh, maybe you'll have that figured out once we get far enough into the game. No matter, the rules are simple enough. Fifteen questions, three new lifelines.
$1 million $500,000 $250,000 $150,000 $75,000 $50,000 $20,000 $10,000 $5000 $2500
Well, excuse me. Ten questions to a million dollars. That's right, ladies. You're only ten correct answers away from winning a fortune. And as a bonus, in honor of this 125th RPG, we're starting you out with a guaranteed $1250 -- you cannot leave with less than that. But if you get up to the $50,000 level, that's another safe haven, so you'd guarantee yourself that. Of course you have the usual three lifelines to work with: 50/50, Ask the Audience, and Phone a Friend. So if you're ready, let's play Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
*the camera zooms out and focuses on the contestant and the host sitting opposite each other as the lights-down cue plays and the studio dims down*
Again, you have $1250 no matter what, but I'd certainly like you to double that right away. This first question is worth $2500 if you get it right. Have a good look at it...
*the q6 question bed plays in the background*
Which planet in our solar system is the closest to the Sun?
A: Jupiter B: Venus C: Mercury D: Saturn

Mercury, C. Final answer. (Q6/Q11 final answer cue plays)

A: Jupiter B: Venus C: Mercury D: Saturn
Of course it's Mercury. You have $2500. *the audience applauds as the q6 correct cue plays and the studio lights come back on*
A: Jupiter B: Venus C: Mercury D: Saturn
*the q7 let's play cue plays as the studio dims down*
Fun fact, despite being the closest, it's not the hottest; that distinction goes to Venus, whose thick CO2 atmosphere traps a good deal of the Sun's heat such that it's unbearably hot all across the surface.
Anyway, that's one question down. Have a look at question number two, this would double your money again to $5000 if you give me the right answer. Here it comes.
*the q7 question bed plays in the background*
Which of these is the name of the breakout grunge music album by the rock band Nirvana?

Oh no... I'm sorry, but I have zero idea when it comes to grunge rock bands, especially not Nirvana. Looks like I'm going to have to use a lifeline here.
I'll ask the audience.

Judging by the studio audience (it feels so weird to have two audiences), I'll go for A, Nevermind. Final answer.

*the q7 Final Answer cue plays, replacing the question bed in the background*
A: Nevermind B: Imaginethat C: Playnice D: Staytuned
The audience came through for you, you have $5000. *the audience applauds as the q7 correct cue plays and the studio lights come back on*
A: Nevermind B: Imaginethat C: Playnice D: Staytuned
*the q8 let's play cue plays as the studio dims down*
Well, so far so good. You've won $5000; only eight more correct answers and you'll be walking out of here with this check right here. *I hold up a piece of paper written out for $1,000,000 that subtly reads "FOR DISPLAY ONLY"* I'm kidding. The money goes straight into your bank account.
$1 million $500,000 $250,000 $150,000 $75,000 $50,000 $20,000 $10,000 $5000 $2500
Right, this is question number three, read it carefully. You have two lifelines; use them if you need to. Here it is.
*the q8 question bed plays in the background*
A prime number can be found in the title of which movie?
A: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 B: Toy Story 4 C: 6 Underground D: 8-Bit Christmas

*the q8 Final Answer cue plays, replacing the question bed in the background*
A: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 B: Toy Story 4 C: 6 Underground D: 8-Bit Christmas
Right answer, you have $10,000. Well done. *the audience applauds as the q8 correct cue plays and the studio lights come back on*
A: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 B: Toy Story 4 C: 6 Underground D: 8-Bit Christmas
*the q9 let's play cue plays as the studio dims down*
No trouble for you there. 2 is the only even prime number, and knowing that right off the bat has earned you five figures.
$1 million $500,000 $250,000 $150,000 $75,000 $50,000 $20,000 $10,000 $5000 $2500
Now, this next question could be worth $20,000 if you give me the right answer. Of course, the drops are starting to get rather steep: if you get this question wrong… you have that $1250 no matter what, but you lose $8750. Don't forget that you still have two lifelines. Question number four is this…
*the q9 question bed plays in the background*
How many red and white stripes are depicted on the flag of the United States?
A: 6 red, 5 white B: 7 red, 6 white C: 8 red, 7 white D: 9 red, 8 white

A: 6 red, 5 white B: 7 red, 6 white C: 8 red, 7 white D: 9 red, 8 white So, I'm trying to think... I'm quite a flag fanatic, and I know that the US flag has 13 stripes. 6 + 5 would be 11, so that rules out that option. B is a possibility, as 7 + 6 is 13. 8 + 7 is not 13 either, it's 15. 9 + 8 is 17, so that's incorrect as well. So, by my powers of deduction (or, rather, addition), it's surely 7 red and 6 white. I'm going for B, final answer.

*the q9 Final Answer cue plays, replacing the question bed in the background*
A: 6 red, 5 white B: 7 red, 6 white C: 8 red, 7 white D: 9 red, 8 white
It helps to be a flag fanatic, doesn't it? You've just won $20,000. *the audience applauds as the q9 correct cue plays and the studio lights come back on*
A: 6 red, 5 white B: 7 red, 6 white C: 8 red, 7 white D: 9 red, 8 white
*the q10 let's play cue plays as the studio dims down*
No surprise there, 50 stars for the 50 states, and 13 stripes for the 13 original colonies from which the U.S. started. That's why some people call our flag the Stars and Stripes.
$1 million $500,000 $250,000 $150,000 $75,000 $50,000 $20,000 $10,000 $5000 $2500
Now this is a big one. Question number five is worth $50,000. If you give me the right answer to this question, not only will you go up $30,000, but that money will become yours no matter what. But be careful — if you get it wrong… you leave with that $1250 you're guaranteed right now, but you lose $18,750. That's a bit of a drop there.
That $20,000 is right there for you, and you still have two lifelines. You can obviously use them both and still walk away without penalty. But this next question is worth a guaranteed $50,000. Have a good look at it, and tell me what you'd like to do…
*the q10 question bed plays in the background*
Which of these weighs more?
A: A gallon of water B: A gallon of petrol C: A gallon of olive oil D: They all weigh the same

I've no idea how much a gallon is, but I don't think they're subdivided into troy weight and whatnot, but then, I feel like this might be a trick question, so I'll use a second lifeline here.
I'm gonna phone a friend.
