Here I'll start a topic for an original Bulgarian quiz show...
"The Last Wins" ("Последният печели") is a fun, informative quiz show featuring four players. It consists of three rounds with different areas of knowledge, in which the questions have different points of value. At the end of each round, one participant is eliminated, and the winner wins the right to compete in the next episode and play until someone else manages to beat him.
To start the game, the host (popular singer and actor Orlin Goranov) asks the four participants the audience question. The participant who answered correctly has the right to start the game.
The first round consists of 4 areas of knowledge related to current news, scientific facts, and events from the past and present. Each field contains 4 questions, each with a different value and a different level of difficulty, with points 5, 10, 20, and 40. The participant who answered a question correctly has the right to choose a field and a question for a certain number of points. The three participants with the highest number of points continue in the next round.
The second round also consists of 4 areas of knowledge, this time related to facts and events about celebrities, movies, TV series, music, and others, supported by videos from the 62-year-old archive of the Bulgarian National Television. Each field contains 4 questions, each with a different value and a different level of difficulty, with points 30, 50, and 80. The participant who answered a question correctly has the right to choose a field and a question for a certain number of points. The two participants who collected the highest number of points continue in the next round.
The third round is a little different. It consists of 6 areas of knowledge, mainly related to general knowledge and news, which the two participants share with each other. Each area contains 10 questions for 10 points each, which must be answered as many as possible within 1 minute. Each wrong answer removes 10 points from the total number of points of the participant, and each correct one adds 10 points, but also takes 10 points from his opponent. The right to choose a field of knowledge this time belongs to the player who has collected at least a number of points. Each participant in this round has the right to pass some questions. From the second season onwards, each passed question is asked to the opponent, and each correct answer brings him 10 points. The winner who collected the most points directly participates in the next episode of the show, competing with three other participants.
The show starts on September 7, 2020, and is broadcast every weekday from 19:00 ЕЕТ, before the main news program on BNT 1. The show is filmed in Studio 1 of BNT and is produced by "SPV Tank" Ltd. ("Ес Пи Ви Тенк" ЕООД)
