Hello everyone! My name is MuchMoreMatt, and I am new to Millionaire Fans. However, I'm a long time fan of the show, having watched nearly every episode each evening when Regis and Meredith were hosts. I was around 6 years-old at that time I first began watching. When the U.S. Clock format was retired and the U.S. Shuffle format introduced, perhaps due to nostalgia or perhaps due to show quality, I stopped watching nearly as often. I think the lack of the hot seat and the change in music was the reason. Also, I couldn't watch it due to it being on at a different time slot.
I was in college when I found myself drawn back to Millionaire, but it was in listening to the original music as composed by the Strachan's that drew me back. Loving the original format of the show, and especially loving the music, I decided that I have to turn it into a game that I can play with family and friends - and that's what I am currently working on. Since the game allows you to add your own questions, I took it upon myself to sift through all the episodes I could find on Youtube, including old forums and the Wiki fandom, and bought the regular and junior editions of the at-home card game, to amass a large databank of questions and answers. It currently holds around 25,000+ questions and answers.
By the way, if you want to view the clips and episodes I borrowed questions from, I consolidated them into a series of playlists which anyone can check out on my Youtube page.
As proof that I am a serious fan, I took a picture of the at-home versions of Millionaire I have, including the original soundtrack that was released in 2000. Let me tell you, I'm happy to have this CD, as I consider myself lucky that I found a like-new copy on eBay so many years after it's original release.
Besides Millionaire, I also play video games and play guitar.
At any rate, thanks for reading a bit about my interest in Millionaire, and I look forward to showing my game in the future!
