Hi folks, In a book I own called 'Behind the Scenes at Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?', I found a picture containing the 1998 set construction drawing. The image itself in the book is quite small, however I took a picture of it as best as I could and as close as I could, without compromising the quality of the picture. Here's the picture!

This is cool to see, thanks for sharing.
I can imagine this would be useful info to those like yourself who do 3D models, to get the proportions correct (as you have) for the set elements. It appears the image shows the frame with the lights mounted across the studio, and possibly access gantry points even. Something I always admire about the design is how compact it is, while also remaining spacious. Of course, on TV everything tends to look larger than it does in reality. When I attended another game show years ago (Deal or No Deal UK), it amazes me the dramatic way a set comes to life when the lights are switched on. That was much more basic in terms of the lighting design Millionaire pioneered.
Of course, we can only wish if a larger resolution of the UK set design (or other country versions) could be available someday. There's a few annotations which are difficult to make out which could be curious to see. Still viewing it in this form gives a glimpse into how everything was conceptualised proportionally.
I just checked too and find the paperback book at a popular retail store for less than £3 second hand, so I'm inclined to pick it up for an interesting read.
