I just saw this a few days ago that NBC is reviving Deal or No Deal and mixing it with the show "Survivor"! I loved Deal or No Deal and are very curious as to how this new take on the original show will be! As as of currently, there is no one in line to host as Howie Mandel is set to executive produce since he's most likely busy with America's Got Talent. deadline.com/2023/05/deal-or-no-deal-returns-to-nbc-survivor-like-twist-agt-spinoff-1235364925/What are your thoughts on this revival?

Honestly, I couldn't decide what to vote for ^^'
Personally, I think the 2018 revival was perfect! A modern take on the fancy US set, awesome new graphics, lots of new (or rather unused) music beds and the Counter Offer as a nice addition to gameplay (which also got adapted in other countries)!
A bit like with Millionaire, it's such a simple and brilliant game! Why make it more complicated and try to make it even more dramatic than the US version already is?
So... I guess I'm "neutrally excited"? XD I don't expect it to be as good as the previous version, but I'm still curious to see how it turns out! But who knows? Maybe I'll end up loving it!

Personally I felt that the 2018 Revival wasn't as amazing as the original series. Sure, the set was very modern and the counter offer was a great addition but seeing as they didn't keep the same models, banker, models and music didn't appeal to me... That's probably why the revival only lasted for 1 season unfortunately. I'm really looking forward to this new adaptation but if Howie isn't going to host, I'm not sure I'll be watching as he made Deal or No Deal what is it today.
