Well, I can't miss the opportunity if the real one writes here! Truth be told, I disliked the new version at first. Maybe because I was like 7 when Rave came out, maybe because I didn't want things to change.. But with years I've started to appreciate it. I'd say it is on par with the OG, just different and all. Like, you feel the tension of Strachans q14 at 0:00 to 0:08 and you feel the same with Covalo's but at 0:08-0:16. Tho I'd ask why exactly you were asked to add additional SFX at q6-10? And why q6-10 is basically one minute long cuz of different progression while q11-14 is not? Also I'll say q16 rocks, both versions. My perfectionism just made me do q16 for Strachans back in ~2019 because I just craved to hear that tension on their soundtrack. You did good, man, real good. On your "Strachan Q16" idea, I think it would have been a better idea to do what Turkey 2008 did - i.e. pitch up the Q14 cue as a non-safety-net Q15 and use the Q15 cue for Q16. Nevertheless, good try! |

To my knowledge, the people from Sony very much know about this forum and they do read what goes on here, so I'm sure everyone here will understand. Also regarding Hot Seat: With the AU version off air, the format is very much dead now, which is a shame. But that's a topic for a different thread.  |

Your first Q15 alternative pretty much exactly matched the Turkish 2008 bed according to the WWTBAM Wiki! Good job! |

It's not much (I thought I had more), but it might be nice to hear (or terrible, haha!). At QUESTION 6-16 COMPLETE you will find the tracks that you already know and that are used in the show. Interestingly, one of your original rejected cues (for meet the contestants, I think?) was used to introduce contestants and sponsors in the Indian Kannada-language version in the early 2010s. |

These are some great answers! Its been in the back of my mind for several years and I never thought this conversation would ever happen. Thank you very much. I have these cues burned into my memory and I have nothing but good things to say about the 2007 version of the cues. At times, I wish the American version of the show used these because I liked your Q1-5 cue a lot and listened to it often. I think some of the more dramatic versions of the cues is very interesting and captures what the show was about
