I'm aware that it's been quite a while since I last posted here, I hope you are all doing well and that you've had a great start to the New Year!
I have constantly been working on my graphics over the last few months/year, and I am now feeling comfortable to show you guys the results. Prior to my showcase, I must give a bit shout-out to Fimoku/Finn for helping me out with some of the work, namely the question graphics and Lifeline icons, as well as general advice on how to improve my graphics as I continue to design in my personal time - your help is invaluable and I appreciate it a lot!

◆ Section 1: Logo Design ◆
After making the print logo, I wanted to make a video wall idea for a more full-on project I had, designing my own 'Millionaire' studio in PowerPoint. Having experimented with creating a 'into/out of commercial' video using PPT and Adobe Premiere Pro to piece everything together, I had watched an episode of the syndicated USA version and liked the idea of their video wall background with the extra animation, pre-Clock format, so decided to use the logo I had created and modified with 3D effects for the experimental video for this. The background is actually a filtered version of the video by Retro456. The link to the video is here:
And this is the result of combining everything together:
The first thing that I started making prior to the graphics that started off the process of redesigning the entire graphics set was the logo - beginning with the print logo, inspired by a mixture of Classic and the Olga look. I feel that what sets the logo off well is the flare that's inside the centre of the logo, which adds a bit of light depth into what would otherwise have been a darker circle. I should also point out that with the exception of the clover (recreated by Finn), every aspect and detail has been created from scratch, with the colours added on afterwards as I initially designed a flat version of the logo with no colouring.

◆ Section 2: Graphics ◆
The main graphics for my pack has undergone yet another cosmetic transformation from the last time I put out my graphics to the Creativity page. Most of the work that I did was the text, however there is a technique that I use constantly to enable myself to get a degree that is almost laser-like exact to the original dimensions of the text box.
The way I create the Q&A text is to:
The Lifeline icons here were designed by Finn, inspired by those that are seen on the video walls of the versions using the Olga pack. I had attempted to recreate the icons from scratch, however I found that I was only growing more frustrated by my lack of experience with PowerPoint, not being able to get the details to a degree where I could say I would be satisfied by the similarities.
Rewatching the first UK series to feature the 'Big, Bad Clock', I noted one detail that I thought was actually quite useful - in some episodes, after the answer to a question has been revealed, there would be an accompanying photo of something related to it, and in the case of Lisa Hammond, after she answered her £75,000 question correctly, a photo displayed what the hyacinth macaw looked like. I decided to make an idea as to how that would be redesigned with the classic font (Conduit ITC).
The context behind the apostle spoon comes from a 2005 episode I had watched featuring a £64,000 winner, who answered a question about cutlery.
And on that note, that is all of the graphics I have made so far. I would gladly appreciate any comments and/or feedback on the work I have created - with input from Finn. By the way, if you also have any ideas as to what other graphics I could design for this pack, please let me know and I will see whether I can make a design for whatever your needs are.
Thank you very much!
The way I create the Q&A text is to:
- Create the text boxes with the relevant question and answer
- Copy the boxes and transpose them to WordArt
- Reshape the WordArt boxes to laser-like accuracy and pushing back the text boxes to the back of the PowerPoint slide
