Millionaire Should Return To Regular People as Contestants

I gotta say, I totally agree with you on both points! First of all, I think having Celebrity shows as standard works for some other formats, but definitely not Millionaire! It kinda defeats the whole point of why the format was invented, imo (and yes, I know the celebs play for charity and not for themselves). I don't want US Millionaire to end up like the 2014 UK version with "The People Play" specials or something. But who knows, maybe they'll pick up the show for a full series with regular people after the 25th anniversary shows. Fingers crossed!

And about the host, it's basically what I've been thinking about too! Aside from Regis, Meredith was my favourite Millionaire host! I especially loved the fake-outs when revealing the answers to some of the questions!
Or at least have her as one of the celebrity contestants, like Cedric the Entertainer. About Jimmy... I feel like he's just a bit too calm to be a host of a show like that. If I look at Millionaire episodes with (for example) Meredith, Regis or Jeremy Clarkson, you can see that the hosts can be serious, they can be funny, and they truely share the players' excitement on every question! And I still feel like Jimmy lacked the excitement during David Chang's win (compared to Jeremy's "YOU'VE JUST WON A MILLION POUNDS!!!", for example). But at least this time, we'll get to see an audience that'll hopefully be all hyped up and excited!

But still, I'm looking forward to the new episodes! It's always great to see a version of Millionaire return!
