It's the first week of May! Time for the weekly overview. All-new shows again this week. Terry Moran, a news correspondent, did well last week helping out contestants. This week, we have another news journalist for Ask the Expert. This time, it's CNN anchor Campbell Brown. Also, the "You're in the Hot Seat" home game continues. Keep looking for winning answers. Once again, I'll be posting the total amount of money that was given away for the week. Check back here at the end of the week to see how much money was given away.

The first week of May is done. Time to reveal how much money was given away. There were some big wins this week, not as many as last week, but the total is still big: $247,500. Here's the breakdown:
Mon. (5/3): $100,000
Tues. (5/4): $50,000, $5,000
Wed. (5/5): $50,000
Thurs. (5/6): $15,000, $12,500
Fri. (5/7): $15,000
Campbell Brown was an excellent expert this week. Great job to her! Also, just a few sidenotes. The $50,000 winner from Tuesday is from Monroe Township, NJ where I live, so I was definitely pulling for her to win big! And on Thursday, during the celeb. question, Meredith said it was worth $15,500, when it was really, of course, $15,000. That's it for this week. See you next week!
