It's an all-new week of Millionaire! Time for the overview (which is a day late, I usually post these on Sunday, but I was busy yesterday, sorry for the delay). It's another week of all-new shows. The expert is Good Morning America: Weekend Edition anchor John Weir. Also, it's the last week for the "You're in the Hot Seat Home Game." Keep checking for winning answers. At the end of the week, I'll be posting the total prize money given away. Check back for that. Finally, once the "You're in the Hot Seat" game ends, I'm just curious to know if anyone actually won. If you did, feel free to post your winning answer and how much you won. If not, you can still post your answer and dollar amount that was on your game card. I'll be looking forward to that.

Well it'll have to end sometime or another. The only way that they could probably keep this a long running event, is really, have more winners. Which in turn, loses them money, and then they'll probably have to raise the amount you can win too. That would be because many people wouldn't think it would be worth it, so they don't do it. I can though see it being an anual event.

We have come to the end of the last week of May! Time to reveal how much money was given away. Now, this isn't the exact amount, because Thursday's show was blocked off by Pres. Obama's oil spill press conference. Either way, it's still a big total: $182,500. Here's the breakdown:
Mon. (5/24): $15,000, $5,000 (contestant left over from Regis's guest host week), $5,000
Tues. (5/25): $100,000
Wed. (5/26): $25,000, $10,000
Thurs. (5/27): $12,500.....rest cut off by press conference
Fri. (5/28): $5,000, $5,000
Bill Weir was an excellent expert this week. Good job to him (and I think he redeemed the name of "Good Morning America: Weekend Edition" after Kate Snow's less than impressive run). Also, the "You're in the Hot Seat" home game ends this week. Congratulations to anyone who won! Have a great Memorial Day weekend! See you next week.

Yeah, a very good amount of money was given away, so I'm pretty happy. Also the expert, as you said, redeemed the GMA:WE, Kate Snow did not do a great job, so I'm glad about that too.
