This is a hint that some of you fans may know, but not all people know this. If you ever happen to get on the show, I'm pretty sure this will help you dramatically. The hint is, there will never be three of the same answers at once. For example it will never go, "B B B," it would have to go "B B" then A, C, or D. So really if you ever get on the show, and this does happen to you, you should have a 1 in 3 chance of getting it correct! (doesn't make the Double-Dip sound like it is a bad idea if you don't know it, right?) And for all of you others that still have the 50:50, and one of the repeated ones is still there, it should turn out to be a 100% chance! Just thought I'd share some Millionaire trivia!

That is a very good tip for people who already were or about to go on the show. I think that it is a very good strategy. Thanks for the tip.

I remember watching one of last episodes before summer break, and it went sth like C, B, B, B, C, and then I don't know. So, don't disqualify the same answer on 3rd question in a row, because, the possibility is, all 12/15/16 will have B as the correct answer. Of course, what's more probable, correct answer will be the same 3 times in a row and no more. There are just too many questions in database.

What Reidb1700 said, thats pretty much your best strategic option. If I were on the show I would just look at the answers and see if they make sense with the question.

When I always watch "Millionaire" I notice a pattern of B's in the first question. If you become a contestant on "Millionaire" remember the majority of the the first question answer is B but if it is not then don't blame me. Just use it some of the time and hopefully you pass the first question! hahahaha

As a former contestant, I would caution contestants about putting too much stock in Reidb1700's hint. I just watched my episode from 2014 again and noticed that A was the correct answer for 5 consecutive questions. I didn't even notice this anomaly until one of my friends pointed it out. That is the nature of multiple choice questions; the correct answer can be the same letter for several consecutive questions. As a teacher, I urge my students not to pay too much attention to the letters of the answers because then they start second-guessing themselves if they see one letter appear 3 times in a row. Focus on answering the question correctly rather than worrying about what the letter is.
