Having watched the show for a year now, I can say that the emphasis on this show isn't necessarily winning big (although the $250,000 and $1 Million moments have proven to be comparatively dramatic), but on everyone having a fair go and the fact that there is a winner every episode - it's a bit more family friendly as well.

Of course, I would really like to have episodes based off the US syndicated - they are the same in nearly every way - colourful sets including a screen around the host entrances, time limits on each question and 30 min running time with ads. Just add the lifelines and change the music and it would be a good show.

It's good, but it just doesn't sound like Millionaire at all..

Millionaire Hot Seat is a completely broken game. A player could get 13 questions right, falter on question 14, and the next player gets a walk right into a $250,000 question having done no heavy lifting.
