I think it will probably run without a problem on most machines. It's won't be too taxing on any computer hardware from the last few years.
I have a question for you guys:
I'm not a big PC games person, and as such haven't bought a PC game on its release date in a long time. On September 7, will this game be available on the shelf? Or this a "low profile" release that will just be stocked whenever the stores get around to it. If there's no guarantee of me seeing on the shelf for a few weeks, I'd rather just get it off of Amazon and wait for it to ship.

Most likely, most stores will stock it on the first day, I highly doubt there will be any big release on it.
Another way that you can possibly get it first day is a download(not sure if it'll be in right away). If you're going to go that route, I would use Wild Tangent (best in my opinion). You can download a trial, and if you like you can buy the full version, and it costs just as much.

Actually, I get it first! My Dad owns a RadioShack and he can order things things like this early. For example, he could have gotten Microsoft Office 2010 one week early, and not to mention wholesale price!

Reidb1700, please keep us updated on any shipping info you learn from your dad about the boxed PC version. If he can get a copy on the shelf on September 7, then I'm sure other stores will have it readily available, too. I sure hope the September 7 date isn't just for Amazon.
On another note, I believe the "Million Dollar Password" PC game was distributed by Encore and available for a brief period of time only in Best Buy stores. I wonder if that will be the case for this game.

Well my Dad never got one in, but I will ask him about it, and if not, you can probably go to RadioShack's or GameStop's website and look it up there.

I looked in the Sunday Ads today and didn't see the PC game listed for coming out on Tuesday ANYWHERE; not Best Buy, not Target, not Fred Meyer, no where. I think that if it's coming out to the stores, it's not going to be advertised - and that's IF it comes to the stores. Your best bets might just be through Amazon.
If somebody is really held bent on receiving it ASAP, they could choose the quickest shipping option, but of course, that would cost a lot just for shipping..
