Well, I wasn't really having hopes up... hmm.... they'll probably end up keeping their money tree and all too... but we'll see.

Interesting. The clock is only in the early questions. Not how I would have done it, but not necessarily horrible.
I just hope the format change comes with a musical and graphical overhaul, too.

Is it just me, or are they slowly converting to the US format. For example, not only the clock, but the Phone-A-Friends are now appearing on screen. I am willing to bet that they will be transitioning over the years to what the US does. And I agree with RegisFan, they could use a new set of graphics and sounds. Just a thought...
Also, this comment I found to be pretty funny,
"Don't think much money will be won unless the questions are dead easy,"
is it just me, or have they never seen the US Version. I know that we haven't won any Million dollar questions, actually not even $500,000 questions, but still we have won a decent amount of money.

The Phone-A-Friends appearing on screen is taken from the 2007 Australian version before Hot Seat, and it was briefly re-introduced as 'Ask the Teachers' in the 2010 Whizz Kids special, there was a video for it before..
