Also, that was a good joke, I would love to see them have one "special" week where they do that! Well, it worked for Pepsi's "Play for a Billion" sweepstakes! (They really did have a monkey pick the winning billion dollar number)

Guy Fieri made that marriage proposal on last Wednesday's show look kind of tacky. Especially when he just looks at the camera and says "Are... You... Seeing THIS?!"

What! A BILLION dollars?!?!??! Seriously?! Yeah, they had this big promotion where you entered a code found inside the top of Pepsi bottle caps to enter the sweepstakes. They picked a few people who went on a live (I think?) game show hosted by Drew Carey. I didn't actually watch it so I wasn't familiar with the rules, but I know they somehow eliminated contestants with some form of a game of chicken. The last remaining player was guaranteed $1,000,000 and had a chance to win $1,000,000,000. To win the jackpot, they had to correctly guess a 6 digit number that was picked by a monkey (aptly named "Mr. Moneybags"). This is a video of the last round where they reveal whether or not he won. It's low quality, but it's the only video I've found: EDIT: I'd also just like to point out that it's pretty funny how the only entity in the United States that was even capable of underwriting such a risk was Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway - who just happens to be the largest shareholder of Coca-Cola - Pepsi's largest competitor.

I could see it coming to you guys over there if it continues to air here in the US.
Also, I just reread the post where Mech put in the YouTube video, and I figured up the odds. Your odds of winning were very, very, very small. I'm not 100% sure if my math is right (somebody tell me if I am wrong).
Probability of Winning: 1 in 720,000,000 (one in 720 million)
I figured this up by this algorithm: (6*10)*(5*10)*(4*10)*(3*10)*(2*10)*(1*10)
You would complete every operation within the parenthesis (the 6,5,4,3,2, and 1 are the numbers you have left to pick, and the 10 is how many numbers you have to choose from), then multiply them all together.

Well now you mention it, I'm becoming more attached to The Cube - but Minute's good as well. Sounds like a million dollars..!

I love Minute to Win It, although I do wish they kept their old cues, in my opinion, they were much better.

Did they? I know Season 1 finished its 10 episodes as planned, and last time I checked, they were recruiting contestants for a new season..

Personally, I don't believe that - they have the casting link on their website still, and the ratings weren't that bad - it was usually 5th - 7th of the night, with Grant's episode reaching 3rd place (behind Ch 7 and Ch 9 News, which is usually unbeaten at 1st/2nd).
