Ack. Why do I get the feeling that I'm doing this prematurely? Oh well, here goes nothing.
Hi, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire fans. I am plane852, an avid fan of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. I have become nearly obsessed with the show since its debut in 1999. Granted, I was only seven, and I was always in bed when the show started, but I was fortunate to see the episodes on tape. My first big moment: seeing Dan Blonsky win the million. I never remembered Carpenter's win.
I'll be honest. The first reason I joined this site was to get into the Fan Games section. I had been watching BL5965's videos (hope I got the numbers right) and had always admired his work. He inspired me to try and create my own game (although it would be much more simpler). I requested graphics from leimeisei909 (again, hope I got that right), and he was kind enough to send me the graphics (Leimei, if you don't recognize me, my Youtube account is flightman).
Right, so I tried to make a millionaire game. Long story short, I failed. Terribly. I thought I was tech-savvy, and then I got proved wrong. So, when BL5965 announced that his powerpoint would be distributed under a restricted basis, I decided to come here. 20 posts, thats it.
But, as I started posting here, I realized that:
A) Just posting useless crap wouldn't get me anywhere, and
B) The forum was starting to grow on me. I'd hurt myself if I somehow got the password and then just left.
What have I done here? My majority of posts have been in the Millionaire Questions section of the forum. After seeing it, and gaining some interest from one of my questions, I decided after a lot of debating to attempt and drive more traffic over to the forum by making it interactive.
So far, it seems to have worked. I promise you, if I get the password, I will NOT leave this forum, and ESPECIALLY not the "Millionaire Questions" section. Like I said, its grown on me. A lot.
So, its up to you. You decide whether my posts have been up to scratch, you decide whether I'm trustworthy. Granted, my last 5 posts have been put up today, and yes, my post count isn't even 25. If this is enough for you to say "no," then say it. I'll do my best to raise the bar.
Thanks for considering my application, no matter the answer. I'll see you guys around.
