Hi Guys,
I just finished making a new 15 second punter for the end of my millionaire video uploads for this season. I figured since there's no clock anymore that the old punter just wouldn't do.
I don't know what I'm going to do with the music. The old music was so much easier to work with, with having all those little stabs and simple tracks that were easy to edit in. This stuff just...isn't.
Let me know what you guys think!

I like it. Might want to use the set-building part from the new Behind the Scenes clip posted to the Facebook page.. might look better as it's transformed from the old set to the new one, then your logo pops in. Just a suggestion  |

Just a suggestion The footage in the beginning is just a placeholder that's showing the punter is going to overlay the end of whatever video it gets attached to. I'll checkout the BTS video though, you never know when an idea will spark! Thanks |

I see, I am going to be learning how to use After Effects within the next month. Offtopic, but how hard is it to learn After Effects, I really want to create some good looking things! |

It depends on how much knowledge you have in video and graphics editing. After Effects certainly isn't something you can pickup and expect to point, click and generate something fun within a few minutes, that's for sure. It relies heavily on mathematical expressions, three dimensional environments and an unholy amount of variables that need to be tweaked precisely for each effect you want to generate. If you're looking for a challenge it's certainly a great tool and can give you top notch results, but I wouldn't recommend it if it's going to be your first attempt at motion graphics editing. Edit: Forgot to mention: If you don't have a lot of experience and want something that's pretty easy to start learning with that can give you some nice results, I recommend VisionLab. It's fairly decent - no where near as flashy as After Effects, but it really teaches you the basics and can produce some nice effects. |
