[ITV1 ident plays]
V.O.: Now on ITV1, Millionaire is back...but not as you know it....
[As the ident fades to black, we cut to a shot of Chris walking across the dark set towards the host seat, with spotlights only on the hot seat area.]
Chris: In its 12 year history, Who Wants to be a Millionaire has become the most popular game show format in the world.
[Cut to montage of top prize winners: John Carpenter, Judith Keppel, Nancy Christy, Ingram Wilcox, Timur Budaev (RU), and latest Polish winner. And we then cut to:]
Chris (in the host's seat): But as the game became more and more popular, many new versions of the classic game were created.
[Cut to footage of the AU Hot seat, US Clock, US Shuffle formats. Then cut to:]
Chris: Tonight, we are bringing the best out of all those formats together in one game, with more risk, more strategy, and more reward. So if you want to experience this at home, join us now for Who Wants To Be a Millionaire!
[Fade to black, then intro sequence:]
London at night, people walking through the streets gazing up at an object in the sky, which is projecting patterns of the logo onto the buildings and people. In addition, a countdown clock counts from 10, also being projected onto areas. As the clock gets to 3, in US S7 intro fashion, we see the clock counting down, and as it gets to 1, the WWTBAM logo forms in the sky, with people gazing at it in awe. As the clock runs out, the camera zooms into the logo. (Music: WWTBAM US S7 theme, slightly recut classic theme-style; plus ovations from audience who are counting down with the clock in the intro)
[Spotlight comes down from the camera as the dark studio is revealed, with a supernova effect applied to the pillars. As Chris walks on, the lights slowly rise up to the standard scheme: yellow pillars, lights up. The audience are in standing ovations for Chris as the theme ends]
Chris: Hello and welcome to the brand new Who Wants To Be a Millionaire! Tonight, we are bringing all the best formats of the game all around the world into one exciting game, which means high speed, high risk, high reward, and of course the relentless ticking of our big, bad clock...
[US S7 style clock is revealed counting down from 5. As it stops at zero...]
So the most popular game show just got better! So, without further ado, let's introduce tonight's contestants, and they are:
1. FrankT
2. Reidb1700
Chris: So, Faster Finger First, the popular part of the game which has been strangely absent for the past couple of years.... [audience giggles] Now, here is the question:
[the lights go down for FFF]
