A new week of Millionaire is coming, and this week is special. As you've probably heard already (and I've done a post about it), celebrities are coming back to Millionaire for the first time since 2002, when the primetime version ended. Notable names include: Melissa Rivers, Melora Hardin, Victor Garber, Jean Smart, Evan Lysacek, and Mario Cantone (although I really know only 2 names out of this whole list). All will be playing for the Alzheimer's Association.
Plus, as always, I'll be keeping track of all the prize money given away this week. Check back here on Friday to see how much is given to the Alzheimer's Association.

I know someone will eventually, but I can't watch the episodes and I don't know if anyone has yet.

We have reached the end of the second week of the new season, and all this week, celebrities have been raising money for the Alzheimer's Association. The total money raised so far has been mentioned on the show, but I'll still post it here. The breakdown:
Mon. Victor Garber: $10,000 Tues. Melora Hardin: $10,000 Wed. Melissa Rivers: $22,250 Thurs. Evan Lysacek: $21,800 Fri. Mario Cantone: $32,000
Altogether, the total for this week is $96,050. Mario Cantone has raised the most money so far. However, Jean Smart has yet to finish her game on Monday. I'll be posting the total amount given to the Alzheimer's Association on next week's overview. Till then, have a great weekend!

That's a pretty good sum of money, I'm happy that this happened!

I finally got my tuner card, so I was able to record today's episode while I was in class. I came home to watch, and this is how most of the episode looked: Seriously, isn't there ANYONE in the local station control room who says "Hmm, having this line here is seriously inhibiting the show, maybe i should move it up to the top or not constantly have it scrolling..." Gotta love the local affiliate stations...

Yeah, it was only a Flood Warning. Had it been a Tornado warning, I'd understand (I'd also probably not have been in a highrise dormitory watching Millionaire ). But come on, Flood warning. For those not familiar with Michigan, Flood warnings in many places aren't really important. It just means don't go outside if you don't want to get soaked instantly.

That does make me mad when they do that. It is completely unnecessary. I can't believe that nobody thought of that.
And with the flood warning, it's the same thing here in Kansas, nobody really cares if there is one.
