Not really just a particular show in general, but the station a lot of gameshows air in the US.
I'm curious to know whether or not it's the same for everyone else or if the service provider has any control over what shows are put on the air. If it's the same for everyone in the entire US, who here thinks the station is going downhill? I mean I love the shows that air on there but not watching the same show five times a day. What gets me is at 6-6:30-7PM EST, they air The Newlywed Game, Baggage, and the new 1 vs. 100 but at 9-9:30-10PM EST, they show the exact same episodes you just watched a few hours ago. Has anyone else noticed this and is disgusted by it?
GSN used to be so awesome especially around 2008. They had a great variety of shows but now the majority of the programs on the station is Deal or No Deal, Family Feud, Lingo, and then the other shows I mentioned earlier which GSN dubbed as 'a threesome'. In the afternoon you just watch the same few shows over and over again. And what's worse is for two years in a row they had Deal or No Deal on for nine hours straight on Thanksgiving. I love these shows but GSN is running them into the ground.
So, anyone else share similar thoughts and feelings?

Nah we'll continue this thread because the other one's dead.
I personally do think GSN is going downhill. I like the old gameshows they played like the old Family Feud, Match Game, Password, etc. All the games they make IMO kinda suck, I don't like their new 1 vs 100 (I don't really like that game period), Deal or No Deal I think is a corny and poorly directed pile of crap, and Lingo was formerly fun but is now Chuck Woolry and whatever "Game Operator Woman" they have on set (she doesn't control the game in case you couldn't tell) just flirt with each other until the end of the show, plus Chuck is so full of himself that he's a terrible host.
So yes, GSN kinda sucks right now. Also what annoyed me was, when they play certain shows like Millionaire, they noticeably speed up the episodes and it's kinda annoying.

Also what annoyed me was, when they play certain shows like Millionaire, they noticeably speed up the episodes and it's kinda annoying. Yeah! I've noticed that too. When you're watching Millionaire, sometimes it feels like it's going at 100mph if you get what I mean. The people talk so fast and the music itself goes fast. And then they take commercial breaks when it wasn't originally intended, like when the contestant leaves and it goes to a commercial, and when it comes back, it finishes playing the walk out cue and Regis is shown clapping and then he starts to say stuff and then comes the fastest finger. I didn't like that either. I like 1 vs. 100 but I enjoy Bob Saget's version MUCH more. I don't care for Carrie Ann's version much at all. I liked Deal or No Deal but now having the watch is five or six times a day just gets old. I hate the Newlywed Game as it serves as a painful reminder of the girl I fell in love with and who rejected me badly, but the show itself isn't that good. Watching Family Feud every few hours for an hour is kinda awful too. I'd like to see some of the classic shows again and have some variety rather than watching the same things over and over again. Also, who'd enjoy Millionaire being shown on GSN again (at a reasonable time), and even have the clock and shuffle formats picked up? The newer season of John O'Hurley's Family Feud was picked up recently and it was shown only about a year ago. So, come on, GSN! Be cool and pick up the newer seasons of Millionaire!
