jeah it's on german millionaire  but this was a loooong time ago  I remember have seen this on Tv but i forgot what they did after that ^^ |

I figured it was the german version. I first saw it a long time ago as well but forgot about it until yesterday when it showed up on my YouTube recommendations. I always thought the face on the contestant was priceless when the glitch happened. And of course the host's expression looks exactly like Regis' would've if that would've happened on the American version. XD

Hilarious! I love the expression the host has on his face. It makes you wonder if this show is done live, since surely you'd edit something like this out? (Although perhaps not if they thought it was good for comedic value.) There could indeed have been similar glitches in the US version and they were edited out, no way to be sure. I would LOVE to see Regis react to this, it'd be gold.

Nope, it's not done live. Our host is a master of improvisation, and if something unexpected happens, he's just outright hilarious. There was an episode where the contestant sat on the wrong chair, so the host had to sit on the hot seat. She didn't notice it until the host deposited his moderation cards in the slot, which (of course) is on the host's screen, with the words "Before we begin, just let me get rid of those quickly". XD But I'm curious, what was the question and four possible answers? Even though I'm part german, I don't understand a word of it. |

I thought it asks what is Hbf.? or something to that effect, while the answer is Hauptbahnhof (Central Train Station) because the abbreviation of Hauptbahnhof is Hbf. All the other options could be abbreviated to Hbf. and I don't understand anything about any other option.

The answers are: A: Half Liter Bottle B: Central Train Station C: well, some kind of window C: Horn-rimmed Glass Frame Lol, that moment was great! I remember watching that episode but i can't remember either what they did.  Günther Jauch probably made fun of the production staff afterwards... he kinda likes to do that.  I also remember another seat-switching incident. That one was on purpose, though. Horst Schlämmer (the alter ego of a hilarious german comedian) once occupied Jauch's seat on Celebrity Millionaire. I also remembered something from the German host. I think there's this one million euro question, and the contestant still got his PAF. The question is about history. For that 1 mil euro question, the host was just like a devil, doesn't want the contestant to win (which of course is funny, I remember there's a subtitle). When the contestant pronounce that he's going to phone a friend, which is a historian, the host just shouted like "Oh, no!"
And after the PAF's been done, the contestant give the final answer: Aegean Sea, and he won 1 million euros.
I can't seem to find that clip anymore on youtube.
