This is how Millionaire should have been:
1. The Money Tree
In the Classical Format, it was this:
$1,000,000
$500,000
$250,000
$125,000
$64,000
$32,000
$16,000
$8,000
$4,000
$2,000
$1,000
$500
$300
$200
$100
In the clock format, the 10th question was worth $25,000.
In the new one...I forgot the money tree for US Season 8, but I tell you, it wasn't good either.
So here is my proposal of a new money tree:
$1,000,000
$750,000
$500,000
$250,000
$100,000
$50,000
$25,000
$12,000
$5,000
$1,000
$500
$300
$200
$100
2. What about the clock?
Yes! We're going to have the US Clock and the basic rules of the US Clock Format as well, but unlike if you ran out of time you just walk away, if you run out of time...it'll be treated as if you got the wrong answer! More cruel and more challenging!
Also, not only we're going to have the clock from the US Clock format, but also we're going to use the UK Clock as another timer as well.
As for the Million Dollar Question, the unused time will NOT be banked. In fact, I say that the Million Dollar Question should have a time limit of 7 minutes.
3. Lifelines?
Oh yea. It should start out regulary with the 50:50, Ask the Audience, and also Phone a Friend.
But also a new rule: If a contestant reaches the milestone, they will choose a hidden lifeline that is unknown to them. The hidden lifelines will be Jump the Question, Ask the Expert, Double Dip, Ask one of the Audience (from the German version), and Switch the Question. Those hidden lifelines will be randomized and that person will chose a unknown lifeline and whatever he/she chooses, that'll be their next lifeline.
If the contestant haven't used the Jump the Question by the time he/she reached the Million Dollar Question, they can swap the Jump the Question with one of the remaining lifelines that wasn't chosen by the contestant.
4. Fastest Finger
The Fastest Finger should be recovered although I have a different idea on how to use it. The Fastest Finger will work the same with this: if a person gets the correct order of sequence right, he/she goes to the Hot Seat (if there IS). But the difference is that all 10 contestants are going to be in the Hot Seat! How? Easy. Starting at 10, the amount of people will play...you know what, I'll just show you an example.
Say that there are 10 Contestants (some of the names you'll recognize ;D):
John Carprenter
Kevin Smith
Ken Basin
Alan Carver
Beyonce Knowles
Barack Obama
Darth Vader
Pikachu
Regisfan (YES...our fun, loving Administrator) ;D
James Kurk
They all play the Fastest Finger and the results are in:
John Carprenter - INCORRECT
Kevin Smith - Correct in 4.56 sec
Ken Basin - Correct in 2.98 sec
Alan Carver - INCORRECT
Beyonce Knowles- INCORRECT
Barack Obama - Correct in 2.45 sec
Darth Vader - Correct in 3.15 sec
Pikachu - Correct in 1.20 sec
Regisfan - INCORRECT
James Kurk - INCORRECT
So with the fastest time, Pikachu goes to the Hot Seat, but not yet! For the people who are incorrect, the second Fastest Finger round will be for the incorrect people and it'll be easier. This will go on until 9 players are correct or all the players are correct.
So this the result in the second Fastest Finger round:
John Carpenter - Correct in 2.75 sec
Alan Carver - Correct in 1.57 sec
Beyonce Knowles- INCORRECT
Regisfan - Correct in 0.89 sec
James Kurk - Correct in 3.45 sec
Since 9 players got correct, all 10 will be playing in the Hot Seat, starting with the fastest person first all the way to the slowest or the person left INCORRECT. So here is the order:
1. Pikachu
2. Barack Obama
3. Ken Basin
4. Darth Vader
5. Kevin Smith
6. Regisfan
7. Alan Carver
8. John Carpenter
9. James Kurk
10. Beyonce Knowles
Pikachu will start first since that Pokemon got the fastest time, then it'll be Barack Obama, then Ken, then everyone's favorite Dark Lord of the Sith named Vader, then Kevin, then Regisfan, then Alan, then John, then James, and finally to Beyonce. Once all the 10 players are done in the Hot Seat, the next set of 10 players will come up and they'll compete on who gets to go FIRST!
5. Music:
The questions music will ALL be from the US Clock Version.
But explaining the instructions, I'll use the US Shuffle music (the music when they are explaning the instructions and randomizing the difficulty and the questions).
For the milestone wins and the Million Dollar Question win music, I suggest that we use the 2007 UK music. It'll be RAVING FUN! ;D
And for the other music...I'll use the 2007 UK music as well, but for the rest, the US Clock music.
EXTRAS:
THIS IF FOR IF THE US STILL KEEPS THE SHUFFLE FORMAT, IF FOR SOME RANDOM REASON THEY REVERT BACK TO THE US CLOCK FORMAT, THEN THIS PART CAN BE IGNORED! THANKS FOR gagamillionaire FOR IMPROVEMENTS! ;D
IF I can edit the US Shuffle Format -
Instead of randomizing the dollar values and the difficulty, the difficulty should be randomized. And also, if any of the Jump the Question lifeline isn't used by the time they reached the Million Dollar Question, they can switch it to another random lifeline.
IF THAT WERE TO BE POSSIBLE, I CAN ASK THE PRODUCERS TO CHANGE IT TO MY IDEA LISTED ABOVE!
What do you think? Any objections or likings you can say to me?
