I don't know if this is the appropriate forum to post it, but I think this game is great, and it would be bad not to spread it.
Everybody of you should know BuzzerBlog, and it has just launched its own Online Game Show section, called the BuzzerGames. There are 2 podcast games, a Facebook-exclusive game, and a flash-game titled Money Vault.
You are given 50 cards distributed on 2 boards, left and right. 40 of those contains an amount of money from $1,000 to $100,000. All you have to do is to put these cards to 10 slots, from slot 1 to 10, such that the amount of money in slot 10 > slot 9 > etc. > slot 1. If you made it, you win the whole bank. If you cannot place a card you have just drawn, you will be forced to use 2 lifelines. One is called a pass, where you could pass the card you just drew, or swap, where you could swap the new card for the one that's already on a slot. When you are stuck and you have no lifelines, you walked out with nothing.
10 of the other cards are bail cards, which gives you a chance to walk out with a cumulative 5% for each bail card you draw. For example, if you have drawn 2 bail cards, and you have just drawn another bail card, you could walk out with 15% of the bank.
Money Vault is a combination between luck-based and strategy-based show, I think. It involves no knowledge, but logic, strategy, and lots of luck could make a player victorious. However, this is the problem, the lots of luck. Sometimes, it is really hard to draw a bail card you needed to walkaway, and hence you will need a really good timing for each card, where strategy even cannot beat the importance of luck. I really thought contestant should be able to walk away anytime, with a much less amount than using the bail card, say 1%.
With that being said, the game show is a fun and exciting one. Each card revealed brings the suspense up. The plus side is that this flash game is designed like a real game show, with musics, lighting schemes, and even the host's voice! I wish I could watch contestants playing this game real, on my TV. It's a cheap one to produce, because it is reasonably hard to get big bucks.
PS: I saw one person with a name Regisfan (hopefully it is the same person as the admin here) won $521,000 from the show, 4 hours ago (while I walked out with $68,200 ) Could you please share some trick with us?
