Assuming it was a full house. Apparently they often have trouble filling all the seats in the audience. Clever camera work and lighting covers it up, but it's blatantly obvious on some shows. Seeing a gap between audience members, the top row or two entirely empty, and in some instances when you get the odd camera angle of a shot that you wouldn't normally see in a standard show, there's a huge gap of empty seats.

At my taping, we had a full house. That being said, I heard the crew at Live! with Regis and Kelly say that when Millionaire has a low audience attendance day, they are asked to recruit audience members from Regis' audience. Quite a funny coincidence, actually. The shows tape within walking distance from each other, and Millionaire tapes roughly after Live! ends, so the system actually works quite well.
