Okay, so my best friend is also the love of my life, but lately she hasn't been treating me as well as she used to.
When Lisa and I first met, we became really close really fast and we did a lot of things together. We'd talk almost every night and all that stuff. But lately she doesn't find time to talk to me. I'm lucky if she talks to me once every two weeks now. It was sort of a downfall for us a few nights ago as she stood me up one night and I got mad at her and I told her I wasn't happy about that. She snapped at me saying that all I care about is myself and that I don't care if she's lonely and wants to talk to her friends. She said I'm too impatient with her. But how am I too impatient when I waited for her for six hours that night and she promised me twice she'd be online? We finally got that straightened around but now she's back to not replying to my messages but she's still online talking to other friends. I told her that I'd always forgive her and I think she's taking advantage of that.
Her biggest downfall is that she's such a huge Pokémon addict and it's almost rules her life now. She's all upset about that voice actor switch in 2006 and she won't let go of it. I think its taking over who she once was. Oh, and she's almost the same age as me, just nine months younger. But she's even admitted to me that it's because I rarely talk about Pokémon anymore that she doesn't talk to me much. But I can't help it that I don't care about it as much as I used to.
So what I want to know is, what would you guys have done or would do in my situation? And if you have other stories similar to mine, feel free to share. I'm lost here and ideas would certainly help me. Right now I'm going to publicly ignore her. Anyone that leaves me messages on my profile, I'll reply to but if she leaves me anything, I'm just going to ignore it.
