Alright everyone! The time has come for me to create my video! ;D The problem is is that creating a video through Powerpoint 2010 won't work for me, and I need a video recording software that is FREE and would do little to no trouble with my laptop's performance while recording the presentation. So my question for the forum is - Aside from recording the monitor with a basic camcorder, does anyone know an internal video-recording software that meets both standards? Any answer is appreciated. Thanks! DJ5050 PS: The video will partially be my audition for the fan games section.

It's gonna be hard to call this one, if you have Mac OS X you can get a free trial of Screenflow, which works very well. I've tried tons of trial software and open source software for Windows and while some are OK, anything that is free isn't going to cut it. I'm not saying there's not something there, however I haven't found much, sorry. What season of Millionaire game have you created in PPT 2010?

I am doing the clock format. I have made my own studio and lights for the game, which obviously slows the performance down due to the fact that it takes up a lot of space. By the way, I have Windows 7 and a Pinnacle DVD Recorder with a composite (and S-Video) input and a USB output - that is all I have for screen recording. Sadly, the Pinnacle Recorder has poor video resolution and sound quality.

I think My choice is Camtasia Studio 7 if you're using Windows and Camtasia for Mac version. Unfortunately you can download the 30-day trial version. I hope this will work.

From the consumer reviews, Camtasia looks great for a free trial...but do you know any software that is free forever?
