I'd definitely sign in a heartbeat. What if any of you guys who had a Facebook or Twitter account posted a link to the petition on there? I quit Facebook a bit ago but if anyone else has one, I think it would help get the ball rolling and maybe help the petition spread. Just a suggestion.

I'm having trouble settling on the proper petition site for this. Change.org is wonderful, but I feel that the petitions on that website are more for working toward the betterment of society than steering the direction of a syndicated television series. Most other petition sites I came across today were similar. And while it's great that those sites exist, they are not what we need for this. I don't think our cause will be taken seriously if it's posted in the wrong type of venue. Does anyone know of a site that might be better?

I don't really know anything about online petitions, but I would definitely say that we need to find one that is not only good, but professional too. We don't want something run by a bunch of kids. We need something that has proven results, is free, and is somewhat known. The fact that there are more petition sites out there worries me a bit simply because this is something that truly matters. I remember when I was a leader of the Save Our Voice Actors campaign for returning the original cast of Pokemon to their characters (which was the biggest waste of my time ever), we did do a petition and we did have a lot of signatures, but it didn't make a bit of difference, at least with some of the major characters like Ash Ketchum, we had a few of the minor cast return but that was it. sadly, I don't remember what online petition site we used. However, it *might* still be out there somewhere so it might be worth googling or something and getting ideas.

Right. The final week or two of new episodes always airs in June after a few weeks of repeats. The new season will premiere sometime in early September.
If Disney is smart, they will promote the heck out of Cedric's debut ahead of the premiere.

Wikipedia states that the replacement will happen in September. It's a shame as I really love Meredith, but that being said, it would be pretty cool to have the guy from Big Mommas House in the chair xD. Usually it seems that men host many of the Who Want To Be A Millionaire shows, we definitely need more women as demonstrated by Meredith, have such a more motherly nature rather than Chris Tarrant here in the UK that's quite a bit of a joker and laughs a lot. Not that it's a bad thing  |
