Paul: Oh, no. Let's keep going, guys! Chuck: He feels the need! So we'll keep playing. Retched, you are the player that picked up our fourth spot in the qualifier, so you'll be the next player to get a question. On that note, Retched, here is your $50,000 question. *$50,000 lights down cue plays*
Chuck: Retched, can I please have your answer?
Post ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Same rules on this one. Retched will provide his answer; Paul will accept or reject. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- End

The only one that I think has the symbol B... is Boron. So I'm going to go with Boron and lock that one in.

Chuck: Boron is locked in. Paul, do you accept or reject Retched's answer?

I don't know much about atomic symbols (nor I do watch Breaking Bad,) but I'll agree with retched, and stay with Boron. I think Barium is Ba and Beryllium is Be and Barry Goldwater is in a totally different topic altogether... so, yeah. I'll accept his response.

Chuck: Paul accepts! For $50,000... is it Boron? Chuck: It is right! Everyone now has $10,000, and you're now another step up the Tower of Greed. Chuck: Paul, you have a decision to make. Do you want to take the cash, or do you feel the need for Greed?

Chuck: Paul feels the need! FutureGSHost, you swiped position number three in the qualifying round. Therefore, it is your turn to answer the question. The questions get a little tougher now, and there are five answers instead of four. For $75,000... here is your question. *$75,000 lights down music cue plays*
Chuck: FutureGSHost, your answer please.

I'm very sure that the answer is 22 over 7.

OK, it's not 16 over 5, because it's 3.2 or 314/1000, however, I was thinking that the most accurate fraction for a pi is 333/106 rather than 22/7. It's a difficult decision to make since the two that I've mentioned are actually the closest that I could come up with, but ultimately I'll reject his answer and change it with 333/106.

Post -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Paul G., I'm glad you didn't say you wanted to lock that. Look at your choices again. Remember that there are five choices (not four) on the board. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- End
Post -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For the purposes of this RPG, the $100,000 level is considered to be a given (like the $32,000 level was in Celebrity Millionaire). To avoid any appearance of impropriety, the reason help has been given on the $75,000 question is to help the team get to $100,000. After that, they're on their own and the Terminator can wreak havoc on their team dynamic. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- End

Post -------------- Wait, are you suggesting that I'm going in the wrong direction or what? No, I'll stick with my original decision and it's final. My answer is 333/106. -------------- End

Chuck: FutureGSHost locks 22/7.
Chuck: Paul, do you accept or reject that answer? Paul: It's a difficult decision to make, but ultimately I will reject his answer. Chuck: And what will you replace it with? Paul: I'll change it to 333/106. Chuck: For $75,000, is it 333/106? Chuck: I'm sorry. If it's any consolation, FutureGSHost wasn't right either. The correct answer is 355/113. You all leave with $0. Again, I'm sorry.
Me: WAIT! CUT! WAIT! CUT! This game cannot end like this! We only let teams get out before $100,000 if the question they get wrong is sort of funny (like when a team didn't know Chuck hosted Wheel of Fortune). Otherwise, it doesn't make for good television, because this game is just a knockoff of that other game without the Terminator, and it's in the rules that we can't use the Terminator to make things interesting until AFTER the team gets to $100,000. So I'll cut y'all a deal. If you agree to pretend like that last question didn't happen, we'll give you a new $75,000 question and let you answer it. How does that sound?

Post ------------------------ It absolutely NEEDS a new $75,000 question, because the question ask for the most accurate of the approximations of the pi (which is 3.14159... etc) Well, I had to check it with the calculator, and somewhat when 333/106 gives the closest equation out of these five after rounding them off. 333/106 is 3.141509... compare it to the pi which is 3.141593. 22/7 is 3.14286... not even close for me. And 353/103, is actually 3.44660.
So, I'd definitely in your place replace that question with a new one (unless the rest of the team disagrees with me) ------------------------ End

Post --------------------------------------------- Actually, the option was 355/113, which is 3.14159292035. But because the question was confusing, I will replace it. I need about five minutes, then I will proceed. --------------------------------------------- End

Me: Let's try this again. $75,000 question; Greed Season 0 Episode 1 take three. Chuck: Here is your $75,000 question.
Chuck: FutureGSHost, may I have your answer, please?
