This I'm sure of: the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were both signed in the late 18th century. The Bill of Rights was part of the Constitution, so that's out as well. The Affordable Care Act is definitely wrong, so I'll say the Magna Carta.

Post ------------------- I apologize in advance for that pi calculations mess since for the fifth answer I misread 113 as 103 on that approximation and indeed it is close to the actual pi number. ------------------- End
I agree with futuregshost. Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776, the US Constitution in 1787, as he said the Bill of Rights was a part of the US Constitution. King John of England signed the Magna Carta in Runnymede in 1215, so I'll accept his answer.

FutureGSHost - This I'm sure of: the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were both signed in the late 18th century. Paul G - King John of England signed the Magna Carta in Runnymede in 1215, so I'll accept his answer. Chuck: For $75,000, is it the Magna Carta? Chuck - It is! The Magna Carta preceded all the other four documents that were choices, and definitively inspired three of them. (As to the Affordable Care Act, I suppose it was very, VERY indirectly inspired by the Magna Carta, but that's a discussion for another time.) Anyway, the team has $75,000; this amounts to $15,000 per player. Chuck - So, Paul, you have a decision to make. Do you want to take the cash, or do you feel the need for Greed?

Chuck: Paul feels the need! MillionaireLoverUK, you secured the second position after a close qualifying round with Paul G. Here is your $100,000 question: *rather creepy $100,000 question lights down cue plays* Chuck: MillionaireLoverUK, your answer please.
Post ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Only AFTER I pulled this question from my database did I realize I did two history questions in a row. Sorry about that, guys. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- End

Haha, American history... My favourite...
Umm... I really haven't got a clue, not an inkling, nothing. The only person in the question I've heard of is John Quincy Adams...
I'm going to choose my answer on one of the most childish things ever...
First the worst, second the best... Henry Clay is option 2, so my is answer Henry Clay... Hopefully @paolo16gula is much better at American history than me...
EDIT: Changed "my answer Henry Clay" to "my answer IS Henry Clay", nothing else changed.

I'm actually bad at American History XD I can only name like 7 of the 44 US presidents than I can know of... You know, I'm not gonna pull tricks and accept his response: Henry Clay.

Paul: You know, I'm not gonna pull tricks and accept his response: Henry Clay. Chuck: OK. For $100,000... is it Henry Clay? Chuck: It is! Henry Clay was the Speaker of the House in 1824, and so when the election was tied up between John Quincy Adams and Andrew Jackson, Clay told his followers to vote for JQA so that he would be appointed to Secretary of State. That answer is good for $100,000. Chuck: Everyone has $20,000. Now Paul, you have a decision to make. For those of you who haven't watched the show at home, the $200,000 question amps up the difficulty a bit. There are four correct answers to each question, and the team must provide all four to get the money. Paul, you'll be relying on yourself AND your teammates to get all four answers. That being said, I will help you out a bit by giving you the category for the $200,000 question. The category for the $200,000 question is... Sports Chuck: So, Paul, do you want to stop here, or do you feel the need for Greed?

<Click the play button on this video below.>
Chuck: That is the sound of the Terminator! A person-less device, the Terminator's job is to perpetuate income inequality on this game show by encouraging the team to turn against itself. One person, selected at random, will have the opportunity to challenge another for his or her entire share of the money in a winner-take-all showdown. I will activate the Terminator now. <Stop the first video and move the slider back to 0:00.>
<Stop the second video.>
Chuck: Paul G.!
<Restart the first video.>
Chuck: The Terminator has chosen you. You now have the opportunity to challenge any one player to a head-to-head showdown for their share of the pot. But if that doesn't attract, you, this will: if you decide to challenge somebody, I'll give you $10,000 that is yours whatever happens (both in the showdown and in the rest of the game). Or you can choose to keep the team the way it is. If the person you challenge wins, they would become the captain of the team, but you'd still go home with $10,000. What is your decision?
Post ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Terminator uses Random.org as its method of deciding who to choose to add the drama to the game. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- End

<Play the first video.> Chuck: OK. Paul G., here is $10,000 for challenging. I will ask one question to both players. The player that posts first will get the opportunity to answer the question. Answer right, you win. Answer wrong, you're out (the other player wins). Remember as soon as you know the answer, post it. Also remember that if you don't post first, then what happens to you is entirely contingent on what happens to the other player. If the other player wins, you lose. If the other player loses, you win. So there are upsides and downsides to posting first. Consider that as you're creating your strategy. Now, remember: the winner of this showdown will be playing for $80,000. The winner will also become captain of the team. The loser will be out of the game. So, for a shot at $80,000... here is the showdown question. The goal of zazen meditation is what pre-nirvana state of sudden enlightenment?
If you answer this question correctly, you will be the captain and playing for $80,000. Answer wrong, or have the other player answer correctly, and you're out of the game. Good luck.

Post -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If no one posts an answer to this question within 24 hours of its posting, I will ask a new question. If no one answers THAT one within 24 hours, the terminator will claim a victim at random. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- End
