I'm not angry, and I'm not trying to pick fights with anyone. I just want to see what people think about my concepts and opinions. I'm actually doing a project about fundamental attribution error, which is defined as the tendency to believe that what people do reflects who they are, for one of my classes, and one of the examples I'm using is Millionaire losers, and the cyberbullies on YouTube who pick on them for losing. This thread was originally about the concept of empathy, and not thinking that what happened to them won't happen to you, because it can.

I think it’s not your concepts and opinions that are making people not reply, but moreso the double-posting and repetition of the same points.

I'm sorry, I just want more responses. I guess that I want to raise attention and awareness for these causes. Most people aren't aware of these causes, and I want to raise awareness for and get more people to pay attention to these concepts and causes.

Kind of stretching the double-posting rule. Not a great thing to do with an already-established warning level... If I'm not yet satisfied with the answers or responses that I've gotten from a topic, then I'll bump it up. Quoted for posterity. I'll link to this when supermillionaire tries to audition.

In most cases, I'll let the topic expire, but bumping it up only applies to some cases.

This is your third thread about this subject. If you still don‘t have the responses you want, bumping this thread over and over again isn‘t going to achieve much.

Actually, for the record, this is my second thread, not my third thread.
And the only reason why I made this thread was because I'm raising awareness for cyberbullying, schadenfreude, fundamental attribution error, and empathy, or rather, the lack of it, on the internet. I'm doing a project on these topics for one of my classes this semester in college.

Number one Nummer zwei Número tres
So what do you expect from this thread (or the other two), exactly? I think we‘re all aware that the internet is a place where everyone and everything is ridiculed, humiliated, and harrassed. My experience shows that this community is actually one that doesn‘t make fun of contestants. It‘s great that you‘re against the witch hunts that tend to take place in comments sections, I‘m totally with you, but could you stop trying to force an opinion out of us?

I'm not trying to make any enemies on this forum, or any other website that I'm on, but ultimately, for some odd reason I do; I don't know why, but I'm sorry. I guess that I just want attention because I want to raise awareness for these causes.

I guess that I just want attention because I want to raise awareness for these causes. I would say it's safe to say you have raised a TON of awareness for these, so called, "causes."

Times like these I wish I could eat popcorn. But until I'm able to, I'll just have to concede to Michael Jackson eating popcorn. jesus the number of times it took me to find a working gif

Well, thanks, but now, I've come up some new elements regarding the topic of failure in two new separate threads. These topics contain new elements that I just thought of. I'm sorry, I just don't enjoy seeing people flunk out. And I don't want you to think negatively of me.

I'm sorry, I just don't enjoy seeing people flunk out. And I don't want you to think negatively of me. I don't think you're understanding what people here are saying. You now have five separate threads about the same general topic.
FinalAnswer19, RegisFan, either of you want to chime in here? This is just getting ridiculous now, and I know I can't be the only one who feels this way.

I did bring something new. I originally thought about posting my two new things in this thread, but I ultimately decided against it.
I did some research on failure rates around the world, and I wanted to know why failure is more common in some places (the U.S., Asia, Australia, and New Zealand), and less common in others (the UK and Europe). The reason why I want to know is because I'm doing a project on it for school. I'm including it in my project for my class.
And I don't consider the Double Dip lifeline to be a second chance save, because it takes away your right to walk away. A true second chance save would prevent you from flunking out, and then allow you to walk away. Otherwise, there is no room for error.
I'm sorry if you think of me negatively, and please don't think of me negatively or get mad at me, but I just want to know why things are the way they are. All I want is to know two things: 1: why failure is more common in some countries and less common in others; and 2: why there is no room for error. This is my project for my class. I'm trying to include the data in my project for my class.
Also, please see my "I have something to reveal" thread in the Introduce Yourself section of this forum for the revelation that I made in there. There's an important announcement that I made earlier in that topic that I need all of you to know.

supermillionaire, please contain all of your discussion on this topic to a single thread. If you make another new thread about failure, you will be subject to disciplinary action. This is your final warning. It’s not that people aren’t necessarily interested in what you have to say, but you need to contain your ideas to one thread because the topics are ultimately all related.
