I’m not sure in the UK If they played the music in real time when Tarrant was host. Haven’t been to a UK taping, but in he U.S. they don’t play the cues. Just steady heartbeat music. Seems like Jeremy hears the actual cues. Are you talking about syndicated that they don't play the music? I'm not sure why in its regular format, it wouldn't be played in real time. From what I read on Kevin Olmstead, it seems like it was played in real time when he was on. Thanks! I went to a days worth of tapings when Meredith was host probably around 2008. I thought I remember the music being played live during this taping. When did they stop the live cues in the US? |

I would not know as I've never been to a taping, but it wouldn't surprise me if they stopped when they decided to strip everything about Millionaire's identity back in 2010 and introduce what they have now. |

millionairenut, you are correct. When Shuffle Millionaire began, they stopped playing most of the music in the studio and started adding the tracks in post-production. That’s why the music went out of sync so often in the early Shuffle episodes. I’m not sure what they do now, though.

Technically, checks were outdated. Is that a rule? I still use checks. I still write them and still receive checks as a form of payment. I don't remember the last time I wrote a check. Even my church takes tithings with credit card. |

In the 20th anniversary revival Jeremy Clarkson often times mentions the music cues and acts like he can hear the music. Do they play the music live in real time during UK tapings? Apart from Q1-5 bed, yes. |

I like the fact that the original WWTBAM is coming back, but even I'll admit, it won't be the same without Chris. He brought something special to the show, in my opinion, and he pretty much became a household name because he hosted the show for its entire run. It just won't be the same for me. I am excited it’s coming back in the UK. Loved seeing the new light sequences and it was great having the original music back. Personally, really excited about Jeremy returning. He was funnier and added his own style to the show. Genuinely seemed to want the contestants to win. So exciting!!! Can’t wait to see what they do with the set... |

I'm very excited that Millionaire is coming back, and I look forward to watching all 10 episodes when it does. Hopefully, somebody wins £1 Million.
People didn't care for the lack of graphics after money won, and I thought the set was pretty dark. It was so refreshing watching those seven episodes in May and testing my knowledge. What I loved the most was the return of the fastest finger, the original money tree and the original music bed. Even though they reduced the contestants from 10 to six, I loved how so many of the original elements returned to the game.
We'll have to be on the lookout to see when this airs. I've waited for months for this show to return. Best of luck to MillionaireLoverUK and anybody else on this forum in Britain who plans on trying out.

I don’t think I’ll try this time but hopefully if it gets a few more series I’ll consider it lol.
Also, I’ll be interested to see what direction the show goes in with the next series. To start with I hope they’ll fix all the errors that the last series had and install the right fonts on the ITV Computers. I don’t know if they will, but I personally would like to see them stick to the music tracks that are supposed to be used for each question. (Lights Down/Final Answer etc) Obviously the show was popular enough to secure a second series but I think this will be a make or break situation, especially as those dates point towards the possibility of Christmas/New Year’s airdates.
