theomorton: Hi Matt, I was reading your post and I understand you have access to a question database? I'm working on a personal hobby project and was looking for a DB of questions. Can you help? Thanks ahead!

probium: Sound design of Arkadium Millionaire is flawed. Once I get the final question wrong, I get treated to the $32,000 lose cue, NOT the $1 Million lose cue.

FrankT: Good grief, nobody told me they revived Wheel of Fortune in the UK. Looks like I have something else to watch now!

Is anyone able to tell me a way to watch the UK series? I have not been able to see the January episodes or the current ones because I have been unable to find a way to watch them. Thank you!

@wwtb3am as posted on page 19 of this thread, i upload them to my GDrive after i record them in the nightly rerun
@everyone: Episode 2 has just been recorded and is now upping to the GDrive linked 1 page earlier. Continuing with Series 32 - Episode 8 Tomorrow at 9PM GMT (Wednesday) Episode 9 will air
I haven't been watching the Clarkson series faithfully. Isn't this the first £500,000 question since the advent of the 12-question game?
It's the second question, but the first person to get the question correct. A woman incorrectly guessed on the 14th question on the last series.
A big thank you to MostWanted38 for uploading these. You are doing a service and I greatly appreciate you.
Here are some of my thoughts.
John was absolutely brilliant. He was very good with dates, and of course, history. The questions seemed rather straightforward and he kept his composure very well.
I was disappointed as I felt Jeremy showed a lack of emotion when John got the 14th question correct. That is by far the biggest moment in the Clarkson series thus far, and Jeremy showed more emotion on an Ask the Host question on the next contestant than he did when somebody became the first person since 2006 to see the final question, and the first public contestant since 2002 to walk away with 500,000. Chris would have been more emotional.
Is anybody else getting the vibe that Jeremy's personality has reverted towards his first series? Maybe it's not as common or over the top, but he has had his moments, such as the contestant after John winning 16,000 and saying there's no comparison. He roasted the audience and said he was not interested in opera. He still is nicer, but it seems he's a little back to his first series self. I laughed out loud at his excitement on the Ask the Host question.
Why are people leaving lifelines on the table? That was tough to watch. The woman who gambled on the Cornwall question still had Ask the Audience and Phone a Friend, and she had no idea either. Another woman said she forgot she had her Ask the Host lifeline. Use them, especially if you don't know them. Why anybody would take a complete guess with lifelines still there baffles me.
I loved that contestant tonight who gambled on that Spice Girls question. It reminded me of Ken Basin's $500,000 question gamble on Grace Kelly. It paid off, too. That was gutsy.
Hopefully Mick can be a big money winner tomorrow night. I'm enjoying this series.
Is it me or is Jeremy doing better on the Ask the Host questions?

No problem millionairenut i collect as much as i'm able to
But yeah i like Clarksons style still a few funny comments over 1 show totally funny to watch the same as watching TGT on Prime Video Its also amazing how fast compared to other international versions the contestants get over the 32,000 question. Approximatly around 11-15min time needed for getting there. Thats huge!
Also i forgot to mention last night, the third episode of the week has been upped to the GDrive mentioned on page 19 of this thread. 2 more episodes to go!
Post by TruelyMostWanted on Mar 7, 2019 19:48:34 GMT -5
So Thursdays episode is on its way to the GDrive now Nightly rerun is over
Interesting how today the FFF was played different due to one of the contestant beeing blind. Double reading the question, double reading all 4 answers and then entering the order without appearing in the screens FastestFingerFirst Explanation: (if you want to watch it entirely, go to this thread page 19, and checkout my GDrive link)
NOTE: This clip isnt meant to hurt or embarasse the contestant with the visual disadvantage. Its only posted for showing the difference to a normal FFF Game
Second of all.. At the end of todays episode... the CONTESTANT BUMPER was shown! So there is definitly more coming sooner or later Lets see what Jeremy Clarkson will say tomorrow (in the final episode of this week of shows) about when they will return with more WWTBAM!
If you want share on other platforms, dont forget to credit me for recording in the night Also THE DRIVE FOLDER GETS ERASED WITH THE BEGINNING OF APRIL, since i'm now totally out of space xD So if you want to save em for yourself, go ahead and download em as long as you can I hope you enjoy it
This has been a great week of shows in terms of total winnings, clarksons comments & "here is what i think" performances of him. Lets see when this continues!
What are your thoughts on this week of shows? Let me know! *Ask The Host Music Plays*

I very much enjoyed this week of shows. I still don't understand why ITV are opting to have Millionaire shown for a week every 3 months rather than on a weekly basis as they always used to, but that's bearable.
It was great to see some big winners get on the show. A £125,000, £250,000 and a £500,000 winner will hopefully have seen a ratings boost, although it's very hard to find nightly ratings now for some reason. Jeremy is really proving himself to be a great host for a show like Millionaire. His first series may have been somewhat iffy in terms of how he talked to the contestants, but that problem seems to have sorted itself through series 32. His Ask the Host performance has also progressed from 'No I don't know, sorry', to 'I'm not sure but here's my answer', which is promising for future series.
In terms of when the next series will be, all indications I can see seem to point towards July or maybe August. The latest contestant call closes towards the end of June, so unless there's another series in between this in May or early June, I'd say it's pretty safe to assume we're going to have to wait about 4 months to see Millionaire on our screens again. Unless, of course, there're some Celebrity shows somewhere in between, which could be a possibility.
If I had to criticise one thing about this series, I thought the questions were a tad on the easy side for a lot of the week. Now, there's nothing wrong with this, as the whole point of the show is to give away a million pounds, but the difficulty spike for each contestant either seemed to be ridiculously high or almost non existent in my opinion.

I applied back in January, and sent stellify media an email as there was an error in the application form about availability dates. They responded to me about a month later saying that filming for the next series would be in July (and also made clear that their response was no indication on whether or not I would be on the show).
On a side note, I think yesterday's young £250,000 winner was arguably the best ever contestant under the age of 25 on the UK version of millionaire (Clarkson or Tarrant eras). Thoughts?

Btw as a little addition to my recently posted S32 episodes overview from my GDrive ( drive.google.com/open?id=1nz3i0rgcOWy_Pz8zkhIyGIguCepUNKlY ), i've made a little overview. I've been searching for all episodes with Jeremy Clarkson that aired so far. And i found every single one of them archived. So if anybody wants to catch up with every WWTBAM UK episode from the "Jeremy Clarkson Era". Here are the episodes in chronological order

So, what exactly is the driving force behind an increase in money won this time? It seemed like one person after another only got 1,000 last May, but we saw the first Million Pound Question since 2006, and the first public contestant to leave with 500,000 since 2002. Are the questions easier? Are the quality of contestants greater?
I'm not sure how I feel about Jeremy's seemingly new catchphrase, "Well done, you." I'm not a big fan of it. I thought it was very unfortunate that the visually impaired contestant came to so close to getting into the hot seat, but someone who did win won 250,000. What a fantastic player he was, and very smart.
It's unfortunate how Mick didn't win much on his return to the chair. It's all about the questions, but Jeremy is getting much better with Ask the Host.
I don't know when the next series will be, but the fact that there will be a next series is heartwarming. Millionaire is back in the UK, and Millionaire as we know and love it needs to come back to the U.S.
Also, to MillionaireLoverUK, I can understand why they show it one week every multiple months. I don't know this for sure, but you don't want to overdo it and run it into the ground. There are diehards like us, but not everybody who watches the show is a diehard. It's much better to have Millionaire one week every few months than to have no Millionaire at all.

The next tapings for this series? / series 3? are happening over the course of the next week. Tickets for 5 days were available here: lostintv.com/tv-show?id=1048 currently only tickets for Friday (July 19, 2019) are available anymore.
The exact taping dates are:
Thursday, July 18, 2019 Show 1: 5:15PM Show 2: 7:45PM
Friday, July 19, 2019 Show 3: 5:15PM
Satuday, July 20, 2019 Show 4: 2:15PM Show 5: 5:00PM
So i'd probably say the next 5 episodes will air in around 4-8 weeks or so?
