Yes they did. The show went from 8PM-9PM , Klaxxon came in while the game was going quite good. 
Clarkson said a few words and announced to finish it at 10PM and then suprisingly *Into Commercial Break*
Then Harry & Meghan took over with their Africa Journey from 9PM-10PM and then
At 10PM it went literally *Out of Commercial Break* and after short recap, there were another 15min of WWTBAM S33

Funny enough, what i didnt know is: they did this already in 1999!
