While I disagree with...a certain person shall I say nagging people to upload the latest series of Millionaire, I am kind of surprised the latest episode of Millionaire hasn't been uploaded on here...

Thanks for this week. Was that exciting or what?
I figured Gerard must’ve had some knowledge because I noticed he kept on getting all of the Fastest Finger questions right, was able to correctly answer a lot of his upper tier questions, but not 14. That was tough. I knew it wasn’t Judas, though.
Then there’s the next contestant, a good one. I was torn between Julie Andrews for Mary Poppins and Cher for Moonstruck, correctly guessed Mary Poppins.
I loved Gerard’s run. It felt like a classic Millionaire episode with high stakes and so much tension.
I do think, though, a telling sign, Jeremy wouldn’t drag out an answer at that high of a question value if he got it wrong.

Did you watch last Sunday's S39E07 Millionaire? It was really good. It was a shame she took the money on 32k when she could’ve had 64K. Felt sorry for the first guy who lost £15,000 but he should’ve asked Jeremy for that question. The last contestant was good. She definitely did the right thing by walking away with £8,000.

I've really enjoyed this series, it does feel like there's been a lot more big big winners than normal which is always a good thign. I use enjoyed in the past tense because Millionaire is not scheduled next Sunday, however ITV1 are repeating Series 38 every Tuesday at the same time slot of 8pm. Was that the same Gary Grant who won Mastermind in 2012? I’d have thought someone of that caliber could go farther, but anybody is capable of getting tripped up by a question. Why not have asked Jeremy?
I know future Mastermind champion Ian Bayley was a fastest finger contestant the same night Ingram Wilcox was, who competed in the finals in 1980. I’ve always wondered how Bayley could’ve done if he made it to the hot seat, but this shows you there are no guarantees.
Jeremy worried me with his fake out after the woman locked in C after she asked him. Thankfully, she was right, but do I wish she’d have gone for it at £64,000.
I am glad, however, the last one didn’t go for it, had no clue.
Was that the last in the series? Or is there one more?
Jeremy’s been given another chance after his Sun column, hope he doesn’t blow it, as he previously had controversy after controversy at Top Gear.

It was not. No new press releases on ITV's Press Centre have been made (the recent one was for the episode on the 17th), and yesterday's schedule didn't show it anywhere.

According to fandom page, series 39 ended on March 17th. millionaire.fandom.com/wiki/Series_39_(UK)Clarkson did not inform about the end of the series at the end of the episode? Did he say goodbye normally like there is another episode next week? That’s because the vast majority of the remaining episodes were recorded in February 2023, with the order they air in getting rejigged. There’s still 4 episodes from 2022 that are yet to air. |
