Do you guys think they will release a patch for it? It could have been good, but the graphics are just blah. The lighting in the opening sequence is decent, why couldn't they make the lights going down look good during gameplay? Same goes for camera angles and stage colors. Special Editions was better. I agree with others, there should have been different sets. The French set looks nice, but the UK and US sets are my favorite. The lights when you get a question wrong remind me of syndicated Millionaire. Hope they can improve it....

They already released one a week or two ago. There will be more in the future.

It’s nice being able to play on the Switch in portable mode, just wish the game would have been a accurate representation of the real show. The lights down effect could have been so much better. Do you guys prefer Special Editions or the Microids game?

I’m still debating. There are pros and cons to both.
I’m going to spend some more time with the game and then post my thoughts.

Personally prefer the Microids game, but I don’t mind both.

I may be reluctant to buy the PS4 version because the game costs $29.99 or P1,447.99, but if that game get a discount sale of some sort, I would.

I've spent enough time with the game now to share my thoughts:
Pros: -The game is more or less faithful to the show (specifically, the French version of the show). -The recreation of the French studio is well done. -I will award style points for the menu system that swooshes around the studio. -If there's one thing this game does better than its predecessors, it's the multiplayer. There are multiple cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes, both local and online (more on the latter below). The modes range in difficulty with family gameplay in mind. The cooperative mode in which two contestants both must lock in the same final answer and are seated in dual chairs a-la the old UK celebrity shows is particularly fun. -This is a game that was made with an international audience in mind. Each country represented uses the same set (albeit colored differently - more on that below) but has a unique intro sequence and language. Official intro sequences are used in the game, including the UK version. Ironically, the US version uses a localized version of the Olga van den Brandt intro instead of the brief logo reveal that's used in the ABC reboot (which is arguably a better choice)!
Cons: -The voice acting is terrible, both for the host and contestants. It's irredeemably bad. -The questions are decently translated, but the host/contestant banter is hopelessly awkward. The French-to-English translations are weak, and the result is some funny-in-a-bad-way dialogue like "Here is your next eliminatory question." -I have yet to encounter any other players in the online multiplayer mode. The mode's inclusion is awesome, but I've yet to actually play with other live players! -The Rave soundtrack was used for the main game instead of the original soundtrack. This decision may have been made out of faithfulness to the France's version of the show, but I suspect it's also cheaper from a licensing perspective to use the Rave soundtrack. Opinions may vary, but for me this weakens the experience quite a bit. As more versions of the show revert back to the original soundtrack, I was hoping this game would follow suit. Alas, it does not. The original soundtrack does pop up in the game menus and, obviously, in the UK intro sequence. -The game only includes a single studio recreation, and it's France's set that gets adapted for each country. Only the colors change, and not with any real sense of realism. It's strange that effort was clearly put in to make an international product but other countries didn't get to see their own studios recreated in the game. The French studio looks nice enough, though the lights down effect is weak.
Overall, this release is a mixed bag. I recommend picking it up, but please understand what you're getting before going in to avoid disappointment. This game is an adaptation of France's version of WWTBAM, with some extra features thrown in to internationalize the product. The translations are inconsistent, and the host/contestant interactions are predictably poor (gone is the era when actual hosts showed up in the video games). If you're looking for a solid version of WWTBAM to play on current gen consoles, this will work for you (particularly the Switch version, since playing in portable mode is really fun). If you're looking for a highly polished work of art like the games from the early 2000s, this will no doubt disappoint. If you adjust your expectations accordingly, you may have a lot of fun!

I would grab it but it’s way too expensive for what it is. You can get both the Wheel and Jeopardy games for a lot cheaper I saw a bit of gameplay and have to agree on those voices. Incredibly annoying. Hoping that it can we can switch it off.

This!! I love your review, I completely agree! I have played every day since it came out, and it is fun but the lights down effect could have been so much better, one of the most important part of a Millionaire game for me. Well said! Definitely buy it to support the show, though. The music sometimes dips in volume when the characters would be talking, so there's a tradeoff between preserving the musical fidelity and avoiding the voice acting.

Looks like an update for the game was released. This is the second or the third update since the game was first released.

I mean, the timer, the limited internationalization, the music, even the oddly-phrased questions, all that I could forgive. But the voice acting killed it for me.

Interesting. arman, are you able to determine what the update was for? Also, I have an update regarding my comment above about the international sets just changing color schemes. The floor actually changes as well, depending on which version you choose.
