Interesting. @armanhcx2, are you able to determine what the update was for? Also, I have an update regarding my comment above about the international sets just changing color schemes. The floor actually changes as well, depending on which version you choose. It was for some bugs on MacOS I believe. Microids is working on getting every bug fixed for now, I believe they’ll then move on to adding more stuff like new questions. |

Looking at the change delta, it's pretty minor. Removing some of the incorrect host files that play for certain languages, minor question cleanup, etc. With the way the asset bundles are packed, it has to redownload them for any update, which is why even small updates are so large.

Does anyone else find the game a little bit... odd?
Like, at a first glance you can see it's a quite professionally-made game, what with the relatively intricate details put into it, but then you keep noticing the weird flaws – the studio, its edits between the localisations, the character scripts, the questions, the stability of the online mode, the leaderboard not working at all, the price of the game itself, even the host's THICC eyebrows – all seem very very... out of place.
It's almost as if they went 80% of the way in, and then failed to polish the game for the remaining 20%.
I feel like it's sorta in the weird uncanny valley, but for video games.

Agreed. There are a lot of nice touches that hint at a greater, unrealized potential. Time and budget constraints, the pandemic, and a poor localization effort all seem to have hampered the final product.

That's why Microids needs to update that game for PS4, Nintendo, and PC users so that they can improve their game better. |

A very minor update removed some of the more egregious audio from the host. The game also flows faster but has introduced a new bug where the voice clips overlap. The question banks also feel more normalized to the specific region (hopefully no more Coronation Street questions in the US version).
I agree with the sentiments here that something got rushed. I mean, they created seven sets of lifeline and lozenge graphics - it's clear there was going to be some heart put into it.
Gameplay could have been great - I do think the "neurons" give you a reason to Walk Away, as you're trying to unlock the next question pack that you want.

Obviously, most of those hopes are very likely to never come true, considering the state of the thing now, but I've got serious suspicions that some of them might be coming anyways, so fingers crossed.

Anyone still playing? I am, and I am excited to read some of your comments that it’s a possibility we may get some updates. I would love better lights down effect vs the one panel of lights that goes down behind the host almost every question. It’s fun to be able to play in portable mode on switch. Some good things, some not so good but if they would improve the lighting on set (and raise the lights when you use ask the audience) that would help a lot! Give us better set selections too. I try to play online multiplayer, but haven’t found any players that want to play yet.
Does anyone know if the game works on PS5?
