Alright, so for those of you who have been in the iPhone/iPod touch scene for a while, you may or may not know that it is incredibly easy to view many of the contents of an iPhone application. Today, I looked into what all was included with the US's "Millionaire 2010" application.
[NOTE: Me showing you the contents of this file is 100% legal. I purchased this game from the iTunes store. What isn't legal is me giving you any of the contents. If you like something you see in the screens below and you decide that you want it, you'll have to go onto the iTunes Store, load up some credit, and buy the game]
Anyway, onto some screenshots!
Here's what it all looked like when I unzipped it using 7-zip:
Here's the intro video. No conversion required, it came in MP4 format (which Windows Media Player 12 in Windows 7 natively supports )
One of the three possible "Welcome to the hot seat" videos you can view. One of them is stupid because when Meredith asks if you want to play, the camera shakes up and down like you're supposed to be nodding your head. Cheesy if you ask me.
Also, here's a TrueType Font file I found. Sure enough, Mecha was right all along (although there was no doubt in my mind) that Conduit ITC is the font used. HOWEVER, it looks like it was a custom-rolled version of the font, especially made for Celador. The file dates back to a version of Macromedia Fontographer released in 1997, so I'm presuming this font was indeed produced especially for Celador's 1999 premiere of Who Wants To Be a Millionaire.
Anyway, if you have any questions, or if you'd like me to look for a file, screenshot something, etc.. just ask, and maybe I will!
