Hello, it's been long time since the last post I made on the forum. So today, how do you rate for Vietnamese WWTBAM studio (out of 10) and give me some opinions about it?   |

This set dates back to 2010 (don't tell me there have been a few changes like the screen at the entrance or the monitor, that's not counting). what bothers me is that in 2022, their poles are still red, there has been no change in color or anything. While they have the possibility yet.
But as I said that this set has not changed since 2010, I find that it's getting a little tired. And they should have changed that as soon as they changed the format (in 2021)
But what is good in the Vietnamese version is that they kept the old music and they changed the animator (because the second one I found was something wrong)
For that I will give a 4/10

If they're doing like pretty much so-called "2019" version, it would be kind of silly to leave two questions in Strachan music. Afterwards if they want to do everything in Covalo, great good for them but it will make a difference (only Germany still uses this superb music since 1999).

I'm pretty fond of the classic studio design, so I'd say it's not bad at all. There was obviously money spent here. Probably the only qualm has to be the arches staying red constantly (from what little I saw on Youtube), they could use color-changing lights like how the US and UK did with their own sets back in the 2000s. Also, the anniversary-style podium looks a tad out of place, and given there were relatively new sets with the classic podium being built quite recently (Poland, Bulgaria/Serbia), that seems like a bit of a pointless change to make. And it's unusual to hear that the audience is now useless, I haven't seen a non-Hot Seat version of Millionaire without Ask The Audience. They changed the format in 2020. Btw, I give a 6/10 although I am Vietnamese. (P/s: What do you think about Covalo's question music will be used in the next year?(Rumor)) Ah good they will change, good bah listen thank you for warning me. How about Australia 2021 version? Well for now I like it. Concerning the studio since 2003 (or rather since 1999) we will say even if they have evolved a lot in terms of lights. The music is good (even if I don't like the Covalo version at all), special mention for having put the "lights down 1998" for the first time in the 5th question when they never put it and they makes a mix between 2019 intro and UK 2018 graphics. At least I prefer this 2021 version than the full Hot Seat. Germany's weird, their intro is truly superb and the classic music is welcome but the studio was always really gawdy and trashy IMO. Pointless "eye" entrance, pillars still looking like the 1998 UK studio (i.e. not even being curved properly). I also hate their graphics set, it looks ridiculously outdated and stretched out. German production doesn't really like change, I think. But what amazes me the most is how they went from the Dutch chart to a chart in which you write in Arial what, and the drawings of the jokers are of an astonishing amateurism. And the set I'm not even talking to you about, they have never changed in 22 years and the *musical sequences are always the same. I would have liked their entry to be like the Hungarian version of 2005. Not like the current one, which I also find odd. * musical sequence it is for example when the contestant is the fastest and who joins the animator at the entrance, there is a musical sequence |

Yeah, i was thinking about it. The color-changing lights were used in some local gameshows like The Road to Mt.Olympia and Wheel of Fortune too. The only that thing is after the VN Hot Seat era, why didn't they continue using that color-changing lights and as well as the entrance screen too ? They should've kept them. |

Yeah, I definitely agree with you on that point, and I suppose you can say that with the UK as well, trying to give a few too many elements of 1998 with bits of 2007 mixed in (where are the fades and the gentle transitions?). Still, you could do worse. At least it's not the 2007 Italian version that tried to do something similar to Germany, and just ends up looking almost unlicensed

omran.dk , It's not just Germany, it's Austria and Azerbaijan too! Just a little heads-up (Also, does Azerbaijan really count?) I can also specify that I mentioned the German version to the fact that it is the oldest active version, which means that it never stopped while keeping the same music... i say it like that  |

As some of you have been commenting on the German set, I’d like to say that you should look at the upgrades they made a few months ago. It makes the set feel more fresh. But I’m afraid that’s a topic for a different thread. I will say this though, if something ain’t broken, don’t fix it.
Re: Vietnamese set
Honestly I’m not a huge fan of it at all. Only because the colors are bad and some elements are way outdated. It’s a 4/10 for me.

Reminds me of the Russian set by the late 2010s, or worse still, the Nigerian set from 2009 onwards. The Colombian set was looking pretty dated by 2011 as well, not least with that weird circular screen they put up in that year. |

I personally feel the set is still stuck in time. I've seen some pictures and videos of the set from the audience's perspective, it looks really worn down. They could definitely do with at least some updated lighting for the pillars and the triangular things that lead up to the pillars as well.
They definitely need a new team who's in control of operating the TV cameras on set, and the post production process.
From what I've seen online and everything, 4/10 like Arman said.
