Surprised there wasn't any mention of this yet as far as I could see. I did a quick search and nothing turned up on the site so please forgive me if this was already mentioned.
Starting April 3rd at 11am, CLASSIC WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE RETURNS TO GSN! It appears they're starting from the November 1999 run too! It's all on GSN's site. I'm hearing cable providers haven't updated the guides yet so it's easy enough to miss, but GSN's site clearly states Regis Millionaire will be airing!

That’s really awesome. I know for a while it was hard to get them to air. I used to stay up late just watch that one hour of Primetime on GSN on late Sunday evenings/early Monday mornings. So, it’s refreshing to see it come back.

Cool to hear!  I found on the schedule page it'll be airing at 4pm but I suspect that's based on my UK time zone (and is actually 11am EST as millionairefan found). Here's a pic showing it says Regis Philbin as the host (the lady must be a contestant):

Although it probably won't be available over here in the UK, it reminds me a bit of Challenge TV which continues to air the classic Chris Tarrant era episodes. Great nostalgia and still very watchable, which I enjoy from time to time. I think the classic iterations of Millionaire can still hold their own for entertainment value, especially since it's where it all begun after all.

Wow! I am glad to have checked back here. I'm excited that GSN reached a deal with Primetime Millionaire! I hope that we get to see Super Millionaire return to the airwaves sometime soon. I certainly have my DVR set now

Man, it’s great to watch these episodes again. The audience was so amped up in November 1999, and Regis was clearly having the time of his life. Everyone knew that they were part of something special.

GSN needs to lose that horrible blue tri-tone visual noise and go back to black on the sides of the screen. Granted, I'm only on Tuesday's episode so maybe it'll go away.

Well depends on where you get em  Here's a 1080p version of these episodes with black sides. The first 5 episodes of Series 2 are on YouTube! I'll bundle the first week of them into a package for the MillionaireWanted. There are probably soo many people who've never seen the format in the 90s, unlike us hardcore fans xD |

This is really cool to see TruelyMostWanted , and it's great folks like you (and others in the community) are making efforts to archive classic episodes. For me over here in the UK, it's rare to ever see anything other than early Chris Tarrant era episodes on our dedicated game shows channel (Challenge TV). I watched a couple of the Regis episodes you posted above and I enjoyed them. Thank you!

I'm completely with you on that. It makes the screen way too busy. Actually, the first episode that aired didn't even have those bars on the side, it wasn't until the second day that they put those stupid things in it. Either way, way stoked that the show is back on the air! |

Well, John Carpenter's run aired today. I was confused because the first episode was an hour long with Toby Moore and also those two men who won $125,000 back-to-back, but then John's win and the klaxon sounds after the next fastest finger win?
I don't remember that. I remember Toby from watching on YouTube and of course John, me being in second grade at the time and that was almost a quarter of a century ago, even though I remember it vividly.
I used to just randomly pick answers from the TV while watching with my family, I'd have no idea of 99% of these. Now, I've been able to answer a lot of these correctly watching them on Game Show Network.
Memories. I'm just waiting for the show to pick up again in real time, be it in 2023, 2024, sometime in my lifetime.
