Regis Millionaire on Game Show Network

Fantastic! I wonder how many episodes they bought the rights to. I guess we’ll have to watch to find out!

It's so great reliving that era, many contestants and questions I don't remember. That November 1999 run was special, and how about that music and that montage at the end with all of the emotions? How truly magical it was.

I watch all the quiz shows. Jeopardy, Master Minds, Weakest Link, The Wall, The Chase, I love them all, but there's just something about Millionaire that just towers above every single one of them. You have no idea how much I miss that show. I just hope for a revival one day. Next year is the 25th anniversary, can there be something on that? If not, why not?

Remember, I think Millionaire was popular enough when given an actual chance to stay on the air. ABC were the ones who put it on the ratings against Sunday Night Football in the fall/winter of 2020-21.

I miss my Millionaire so, so much.

Also, in response to above, I'm glad the shuffle format is not on Game Show Network. I didn't watch the Shuffle/2010s format of the show, because in my opinion, that's not Millionaire.

That’s interesting about John’s run! I had no idea they were especially protective of those episodes.

There was definitely a subtle upgrade to the studio lights for Series 3. The beams were brighter and better defined during the “lights down” sequences.

I've been recording GSN Millionaire given the fact these day TV HD are 1080i, but yesterday GSN screwed it up with this, you can see the black border though, too bad it's not I want to see...



Although they actually fix it on 3rd segment or something, but it really ruined the vibe of retro Millionaire...
