I was happy to see them air one episode without cutting away from the credits. It’s always great to hear the closing theme! It was likely an error on GSN’s part, so don’t count on it happening again!  |

I had forgotten that Joe Trela navigated the last five questions without any lifelines. Very impressive!

I’m taken aback by the foreshadowing of Meredith giving the Oscars show introduction before turning it over to Regis. Two hosts are featured on the same episode before any of us knew.

That entire episode was cringe and a flop from the first minute to the last.

I feel like the writers did not correctly assess the difficulty of the questions. Some of the early questions were very specific to certain films. They must have been expecting all of the contestants to be intense film buffs, but the phone game just wasn’t a good way to cast contestants with the required depth of film knowledge.
The unintended foreshadowing with Meredith was incredible, though!

Since all of these old episodes are currently re-airing on GSN... One question came to mind... Is there a database containing ALL of Regis' primetime millionaire questions? Whether it is Q1 to Q15, or FFF... All the way from Episode 1 to 364 (Last-Hour-Edition) Cuz if not.. i have a project in mind |

All the way from Episode 1 to 364 (Last-Hour-Edition) Cuz if not.. i have a project in mind The closest I can think of is the Millionaire Fandom wiki or alt.tv.game-shows, but those are both far from complete. Sounds like a project! Maybe a database similar to J-Archive for Jeopardy. |

I recall a question database in the early 2000s, but it is long gone. A modern database would be a great resource!

The Mike Menz episode was on today, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen it in high quality before.
I loved the question on the previous contestant about the Seven Dwarfs, and Regis was kind enough to count and help out the other contestant, Scott Bickerstaff, how many had their names end in Y. I love that about the Regis episodes, he couldn’t tell them the answers, but he’d do stuff like that or encourage them or talk them through stuff. It’s as if he really wanted them all to win.

Not long ago the Joe Trela episode reran. When I first saw it, I had taped it, and the recording ended during the final question of the night, so this was the first time I saw the ending of that episode. That was a very moving tribute to Joe.

I've been catching up US Millionaire (Regis era) and from what I know we're heading to episode 88 (April 30, 2000) which is today
One of the thing I pay attention to is the 3 celebrity specials, which is episode 89-91
Now it is unknown if they will air it, if not they will continue with episode 92

Celebrity episodes have a questionable reputation among fans, but the first two celebrity runs with Regis were great television. Truly hysterical!
