theidentfan: theguitarman19 I know, but given the trend this year (Poland, Turkey, Poland, USA, Poland, South Africa) it won't be surprising...

theidentfan: New top-prize winner in South Africa! (That's a sentence I never thought I'd say ) I guess the next on will be Poland then...

theomorton: Hi Matt, I was reading your post and I understand you have access to a question database? I'm working on a personal hobby project and was looking for a DB of questions. Can you help? Thanks ahead!

probium: Sound design of Arkadium Millionaire is flawed. Once I get the final question wrong, I get treated to the $32,000 lose cue, NOT the $1 Million lose cue.

And now we have our answer! GSN skipped over the celebrity specials and continued with the next “normal” episode. I wonder if they will air them later out of sequence or if they weren’t included in the package GSN bought. Or perhaps celebrities’ appearance rights/fees play a factor.

If it does, I imagine it would take just one holdout to kibosh the whole thing, since most of the early players stuck around for the later ones. I believe Duchovny and Kathie Lee are the only ones who didn't.
I figured it was unrealistic, but I was hoping there was a chance GSN would rerun the Behind the Scenes special that ran after the 100th show. I haven't seen it in its entirety in about twenty years.

GSN now has entered Series 4! starts with Episode 105 (May 28, 2000) ends with Episode 151 (October 4, 2000) = 47 Episodes total = 9 weeks x 5 days + 2 days to re-air all episodes (based on 5 eps per week) = will air from 28th July, 2023 til 3rd October, 2023
Bookmarks: Episode 113 (June 13, 2000) - Bob House ($1,000,000) Episode 116 (July 6, 2000) - Kim Hunt ($1,000,000) Episode 118 (July 11, 2000) - David Goodman ($1,000,000)
Also in the first episode of the series, they promoted the WWTBAM CD-ROM 2. EDITION
Also since the Celeb Specials didnt air, i've took time to dig around for portions of them Didnt know that guest hosting was that early in the series hahaha
From a parody of regis as pre-opening
To a contestant doing the opening of the show
to all of the remaining ones just wanting to... ahh see for yourself
Seeing Regis Walk In with the "Lets Play" Theme... so reminds me of Germany.. Jauch always walks in with the Lets Play Theme
I’d forgotten how many millionaires we got in such short order at this point in the show’s run. The next two weeks are going to be exciting!
Also, GSN let the full credits play twice this week. The final “Champions of Millionaire” episode might be the only episode in the entire series that featured an alternate music track (the recap music) over the credits instead of the closing theme.
Also, was Tim’s invitation to replay the game televised? Was it shown by GSN? They showed a recap of it but don’t remember seeing that episode.

According to the millionaire.fandom.com/wiki/Tim_Shields His first run was aired but the second wasnt? i really have no idea.. I'm currently not sure either if that second run really aired.. There were a bunch of folks who got to the 500.000$
But other than that -
First run S3E06 (Night 37) - January 14, 2000 - Friday
Second run ?
Third run S3E70 (Night 102) - 05 23 2000 - Tuesday - Champions Edition 2 begins at 38:40 S3E71 (Night 103) - 05 24 2000 - Wednesday - Champions Edition 3 recap at 1:56 to 3:14

Nobody would happen to know Tim Shields and be able to ask what Million Dollar Question was, would you? I’ve read the story it might’ve asked what the last word was in the Old Testament, the correct answer being D: Curse, but is that confirmed?
Fascinating. I didn't remember seeing Tim's second run, and it turns out my memory served me well - it never aired! What a curious decision. Seems like a redemption story like that would have made for great television!

Something else thats really great,
Even though none of the celeb specials aired on GSN, I scratched together different uploads from 240p to 480p quality, putting them into the actual order how they played!
