On the first day of Sports Superstars week, I was shocked to see the first syndicated intro used instead of the usual prime time intro. Was that always the case or was that an edit for the rerun package?

Was that always the case or was that an edit for the rerun package? Seems like a weird change because another person who uploaded the episode on YT three years ago (with a bumper acknowledging 9/11), has just a shortened version of the normal intro: youtu.be/9Prkwxjph3M?t=149I'm guessing the intro was edited to allow for the time of that bumper. |

I doubt it because the aerial shot of buildings, the one replaced with the first syndicated intro, wasn't featured in episodes after 9/11. I assume this edit was made solely for GSN reruns, likely within the first couple of years of the syndicated version. |

Yes, it has. Although episodes are still up thanks to warosm, it's still a bummer for the fandom.

Bummer. Kinda surprised it lasted as long as it did though. They uploaded dozens of episodes every day off of GSN and Buzzr.

We're closing in on the final episodes of Primetime Millionaire with Regis. At this point there are only 16 episodes left until all of them were shown. with one airing on Friday (tomorrow) and then 15 beeing left for the next 3 weeks from Monday-Friday, the primetime era actually ends on July 12th, 2024. Which is the Friday of the same week as Jimmy Kimmel returns for the 25th anniversary of the show. Coincidence? And also.. the big question is - will they go even further with Regis episodes? or start in the syndicated episodes again? Do you think they will play Ed Toutant’s million dollar win episode? Did I see it and just forget?
Revisiting these episodes has been unexpectedly joyful over the past year. I don’t expect GSN to treat us to Super Millionaire, the 10th Anniversary Celebration, or any syndicated episodes next… but I’d love it if they did!

GSN has scheduled Regis on the 9th of July, 2024 to a 90 minute timeslot instead of the regular 60min www.gameshownetwork.com/scheduleThat will be "Last Hour Edition". Perfectly followed up the following day with Kimmel's season premiere! Maybe we'll also get more Millionaire on GSN that day. |

Wait, was the last episode 90 minutes long or are we getting a bonus 30-minute episode that day (Ed Toutant’s win or an episode from early in the show’s run)?
I don’t recall the last episode being extended, but it’s been a while!
