Few things I want to mentioned: The studio is beautiful. UK replica(or maybe Chile?) is a massive upgrade from the old one that have been used for almost 10 years(I'm remember that the set have been voted as one of the Worst International Sets of Millionaire, right in this forum)  2: About the graphics...Sorry if I exaggerated this, but I can do even better than them... It's not our familiar "hexagon" shape. And it's look really cheap compared to what they could attempt to do, they used to make custom style graphics before. This is truly, a low-effort attempt from Channel 1, even if it's unlicensed by now.  But the logo look nice btw. IMO, this is something that "pure-Russian".  Anyway, since it's just the trailer, we haven't have too many thing to say. Let's wait until next Saturday.(If I'm not wrong, it'll premiered in April 29th) |

I don't know why but the beginning of the trailer reminds me so much of the second trailer Channel 1 aired in February 2001. It was on the same axle...who will be the host? haha

After concerning their graphics, it's homemade, it means that it belongs to Russian production. However the background will surely be different and the lifelines too (that's for sure) |

Well, they had the graphics before. Keep in mind, it's still Pervý kanal airing the show, just like before. And about the music, you can basically find it everywhere tbh. Take a look at Iran's Barande Bash. They also used the classic music, but their version wasn't official either.

But, there is one thing, there is a piece of intro from social networks. media promo, and yes there are other lifelines, and most likely, official software is used, but apparently the old one is available, but the broadcast graphics may differ.
Well, there is a forgotten one, but what is really a Red Square, was inspired by the graphics of the India, and tested it.

On the first picture,original graphics are clearly visible on the contestant's screen,so that means that thery still have the official software, so why are they using those bland,dull and fully generic graphics on the broadcasting?If they are not allowed to use them due to copyright, how are they still allowed to use the original soundtracks?Soundtrack isn't protected by copyright too?And about the new host I don't think that fits with the format.Why did they choose a female host.The host also isn't even dressed properly.The suit color is too bright and it doesn't match at all with the dark colors of the set. |

Well, I think they re-used what they still had from their official version (the software) and replaced the graphics to avoid copyright infringement. About the set... I guess they planned it before the sanctions or something, IDK (which is a pity because the set actually looks really good - but the graphics make everything bad  ). And just because they have and use the music doesn't mean they are allowed to use it or that they have the license for that. As I said before, the other unlicensed versions (e.g. Barande Bash) used the official music as well. So do the hundreds of fan-made versions on YouTube. The music is available on YouTube, streaming services, it's on gameshow forums, you can purchase the album. So it's not that difficult to get your hands on the classic music. Even though some might think otherwise, I think that their new version ist not licensed. Just like their new version of The Weakest Link: The same host, a new name ("Na vyxod!"), new music, cheap-looking graphics, but half of their set is still from the old original one. But they changed some elements there as well. Again, probably due to copyright. I would be more than surprised if these versions were licensed but they were like "No, let's not use the official elements and use our own instead to save licensing money."  Other than that, I think it's a good version. And I don't see a problem with choosing a female host tbh. She seems way more energetic than Dibrow (who doesn't? 😂). I think their studio looks nice! But... the graphics that make it obvious their version is not official and kinda ruin the Millionaire experience, so to say. Oh well! |

Overall it looks good but I will agree with what greekmillionairefan says about the license. Uh for my part concerning your reasoning Fimoku the musical extracts of WWTBAM which one can find on youtube, one can also find the musics of Covalo. They could also have taken if that was the case. After concerning the non-licensed versions, I see another one which uses the music of us-clock 2008, it is the Mongolian version Whatever happens, they had planned the change well before the events of 2022. I saw the return of the show a little, well it's nothing more because I don't understand Russian haha Regarding the host, I find sher serious and friendly. This was the case with Dibrov in his debut in О, счастливчик! Now will the show last? Frankly I don't really know, will Sony give the license back to the Russian production if the famous event ends? we do not know. See even if they will put Dibrov back (it can be an option)? we will see there are surely surprises for this return. |

There's one fact that I believe that not everyone here knows: SONY really doesn't care what format it is (even graphics, soundtrack, even lifelines) is not SONY's problem. What they are interested in is how the software works and whether or not the program works almost like the original, as well as the program that only plays in the country where the copyright is purchased. Without that, WWTBAM would have been an absolute mold version without all the diversity (graphics, soundtrack, studio, rules, lifelines,...) as it is now. About the new host? I don't know what the problem is that you don't want a girl sitting in the host's chair. Meredith Vieira was very successful and so were some other female hosts. You might want a host like the generation of potential people who did, but I think it's a pretty good change where programs now need more entertainment rather than focus on the player's progress as before (and that's why many WWTBAM players these days may not be able to get to further questions, but the entertainment value is greater than the old players). |
