So I was watching Syndie WWTBAM today, and noticed that there was a plug for the new Millionaire game for iPhone and iPod touch (with the Shuffle rules).
However, the new game is no where to be found on the App Store. I wonder if they are airing these episodes out-of-order because it was isn't suppose to be out yet.

I am guessing they have a bunch of episodes available to the stations at any given time, and maybe the station just grabbed and played one that was supposed to be like next week or something.

I saw it, too. There's definitely a new Shuffle game coming out soon. Keep checking the app store. Not only is this the first game based on the new format (not counting the online game), but it's our first good chance of getting high quality season 9 music.

Well, the developers of the previous iDevice apps haven't been too accurate in terms of music. Maybe we'll get five or six high(er) quality tunes, but I wouldn't expect too much.
Of course, I could be wrong (I hope so!).

Well the USA Millionaire App has been pretty good on graphics and as well music wise since I got it when it was for 1.99 USD from original price 4.99 full version.
I really hope if its the same makes of the USA version (Season 7 & 8 ) app makers because they done a great job so far.
I've been keeping my eyes pealed for it since the new season started to see if they were going to make the new version based off the USA season.
*crossing fingers* I really hope they do a great job and with the right music for the different rounds and other effects as well.

Starting today, ABC6 for my area just announced the new game app with the new season 9 of Millionaire. ::CONFIRMED:: You can download it at www.millionairetv.com/  !!! WOOT! YAY!!! UPDATE: 12.9.2010 @1:03pm EST The website still promotes the old version of Millionaire for the iTunes App Store at this time.  Still at .99 cents USD Funds for the full version. |

I never realized that the commercial bumpers were different depending on where you live. I always thought those were attached to the show itself, sent by Millionaire to the local affiliates packaged with the program. Maybe it's up to the local stations to play the correct one on the correct day.
I wonder how long it will take for our computer savvy members to rip the music out of the game. If the past is any indication... not long.

Don't rejoice just yet. Game developers have been finding some new and creative ways to protect their assets. Capcom luckily tends not to do this, but as they say, the higher your hopes get, the harder they can fall.

Sometimes app approval takes time, and they (being the show) may have underestimated the time, hence including the promos in the episodes... Just a thought  |
