Well I saw the plug for it today and then I too looked in the app store. I think someone at the show needs to know to pull that ad since the game isn't out yet.

Well, there could be a stronger possibility that they've submitted it to the app store before but were denied. Sometimes that happens if the App Store Approval Snobs determine your app is too buggy or it doesn't run well enough.

Sometimes that happens if the App Store Approval Snobs determine your app is too buggy or it doesn't run well enough. I highly doubt this considering some of the items I've seen in the app store.

Sorry for the spam but this event warranted it IMO.
Also, look at the app description... "Released Jan 26, 2011"
What the hell? Is that the submit-for-approval date you think?

Is that the submit-for-approval date you think? I'd say, because someone would've found it here sooner. What I found that I rarely look on iTunes to download apps, I go onto the App Store on my iPod Touch. Millionaire 2011 was not released onto the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad App Store yet, but I instantly went on the iTunes App Store, downloaded it and synced it.

Well, it's about time. That was one of the greatest teases in Millionaire history!

Grrr, I'm literally 9 cents short of affording it.

Would this app work on other smartphones, like the MyTouch?

Probably would depend on the creator and if it would run well on that kind of phone. I don't see why it wouldn't work on a regular smartphone. Maybe a small bit of redesign if that's needed.
Although, if you're talking about downloading the iPhone version and putting it on your smartphone, then no, it most likely would not work.

Just got the app. I find it funny that Millionaire 2010 is more expensive than Millionaire 2011 now.

I really like the game. I expressed my concerns in a review, but will reiterate them here:
1. Losing on a Round 1 question nets you $0. This is incorrect - should be $1000. 2. Light Downs and Start Classic Millionaire cues are in the game's files, but not mentioned in the game. 3. Many fonts break out of their boxes. The fonts are too big for the boxes, so any font with a dropdown letter breaks out of the box.
It's honestly no big deal, great game for $2.
Capcom did port Millionaire 2010 to Android. No indication if 2011 will get the same treatment.

Oh also, I got to the $1,000,000 question. I got pretty lucky I guess, but anyways, the million dollar question track sounds like the $500,000 one but with an extra instrument. This seems to be the case with all of round 2's tracks. It's pretty neat.
